Glad my sister Suomi finished top 10 with the only other song in the contest to tackle WWII.

    And my 12 won...

(And I've never claimed to reflect the views of most of Moopy... I'm saying though why would anyone complain about the winner being 'too Moopy'? What a strange thing to comment.)

Lucille ROBBED! I bet if it had been female vocals it would have done as well as the beavers.

Despite the diverse selection of songs, almost every category had at least a couple of songs that were similar... and this is why both Cuba and yes, Japan, really stood out.

This was great @Soldi! Condragulations @Dark Carnival!

Yes I agree that the recaps were a simple stroke of genius that really helped.

Will we get full semi results?

    Thanks @Soldi for running this!

I never expected to do this well, I knew Holychild would be a marmite entry. Reading the Semi 1 thread where people liked it was a genuine surprise, and this result is even more repleasing.

I guess a quirky video and killer chorus was always going to be a good combination. And congrats to @Dark Carnival; I quite like that song so don’t resent losing to it, even if soldi’s narrative made it particularly cruel...

That was the heartwarming success story of the night. Also Hungary, which was utterly robbed in the end but I'm glad to see do so well.

Sorry got a bit bored and went for a run, catching up now! Glad I can't read that imbecile, but the comments from the rest gave it away anyway, shame. Bad choice there, Soldi. Congrats DC, now you own him a good fuck after making sure you won :D

That was a good effort, very well done dear @Soldi. :disco:

@Soldi that was marvellous. Think Todeloo and Sealand were the strongest, along with Babylon, but Cuba is a beautiful number. We are moopy, and moopy loves/loved great pop music. I think "Born on a Wing"(sp?) was the best pop song of them all, but it takes a special type of human being, mainly @Superstylin', to understand that. It just doesn't "reach" certain souls

Congratulations @Dark Carnival ! I never voted in this but I would have given my 12 to Cuba, which would have cemented it's win. Great that a non-English song which is an AMAZING coincidence...check out the Kalavision thread!
