BBC2 started screening this last week, but all 6 episodes are available on iPlayer.

I binged on all six yesterday and it's one of the best things I've seen this year. Laugh out loud funny, touching, sad and very, very dark it's quite unlike anything that's been on before.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge deserves every award going for writing and starring as Fleabag herself. Some of the characters have proper names, but some of them, like Arsehole Guy and Bus Rodent, don't. Olivia Colman is outstanding as Fleabag's stepmother.

Epsiode 4 is a particular highlight. Patricia's backstory put me in mind of Miss Belinda Blumenthal.

The depressing underbelly is genuinely touching rather than JUST SAD for the sake of SAD. And the realisation in the last episode of the premise of the series was such a show stopper. Surely this will become a sleeper hit of sorts.

We started watching this at the weekend when camping! I wasn't sure at first but after about 15 minutes I loved it.

Oh this is simply marvellous. My decision to stay in bed all day with occasional cartwheels to the microwave has been vindicated :disco:

This thread needs more posts! Just finished it and really amazing bit of TV. loved the dark humour but really packs an emotional punch too. The sisters really are brilliant in this and loved Olivia Colman as an utter cow!

i've just started this too and am desperately trying to focus on the good things about it to distract myself from how much i hate the protagonist's character.

I started watching the other day and I really love it. The first episode about her getting fucked up the arse is amazing. :D

I hate the smug stepmother more. And the dad who's unhappy but can't be on his own.

So glad this is gaining traction on Moopy. I see it's getting a decent amount of praise in the TV press.

I am pleased this is catching on.

If anyone's in the mood for more Arsehole Guy, he's currently appearing in that Michelle Keegan GI Jane thing, but there aren't any scenes of buggery on all accounts.

Sadly Arsehole Guy Shirtless isn't giving me the image shirt result I was wanting. Although it does yield two Brad Pitt images in the first ten.

This was good - watched all six in one go. Loved Olivia Coleman, I just kept waiting for her scenes.

I went to an art exhibition in the place the art exhibition was filmed. Just my little claim to fame there!

Where was it filmed? It looked very similar to the view from Tate Modern.

just finished this the other day and yes, the final revelation was really powerfully and very masterfully done to be so unexpectedly expected.

i also echo the praise for olivia colman's performance though i think her massive cunt of a passive aggressive character really lends itself well to its actor.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and the ending was KINDA DEVASTATING. I hope series 2 gives her the chance at some redemption and, most importantly, KICKING THE FUCK out of the ever marvellous Olivia Colman :disco:

I thought this was lovely and the fact that it was adapted from a play makes sense. Episode 4 with the loan guy and her sister was the saddest thing ever.

Fleabag rightly rewarded for 3 BAFTAs: Best comedy and best actress in a comedy for Phoebe Waller Bridge and Olivia Colman, who are nominated alongside Philomena CUNK.

PWB is also in the new Han Solo film.

This remains brilliant. The Priest pointing out her nods to camera has really thrown a WTF into proceedings

I'm loving every second of this so far. I wish there was more Olivia Colman- she just SHINES in this. That phenomenal art sitting scene :D

The brother-in-law is fucking hideous, isn't he? I just pray he gets his comeuppance and she's the one to give it. In fairness, Clare ain't much better, but I LOVED the twist that she knew all along about the kiss...
