8am? What did you get up to until that time? :D

I'm shattered, couldn't sleep last night and eventually drifted off at 3am.

I still haven't recovered from the rave last Friday (to Saturday noon) and the Christmas thing I had at my place yesterday.

I couldn't sleep last night either - it was my work night out on Friday and, (relatively) nice as it was, I've had that weird feeling like part of my weekend was stolen because of it.

My friend's got aubergine poisoning. She might have to go to hospital (or detox a bit).

Aubergine poisoning. She's got it and she's really ill.

HERE COMES THE SCIENCE: Solanine is found in the skin and if not cooked properly it can fuck you up apparently.

Having the day off, which is totally not a day off. Editing as essay for publication, meeting with my project supervisor, a driving lesson and library research.

    :D

    OH MY GOD IT'S SENSATIONAL

In a move that would probably be obvious to a three year old, I've just worked out how to wirelessly connect my laptop to my TV, which is then connected to my speakers via Toslink, DAC and amp. I could actually DROP DEAD OF AUDIOTASTICA

Like I always said, aubergines are magnificent to look at, but horrid to eat. And now confirmed as dangerous.

Aubergines are delicious but they CAN be disgusting when not treated right. They need fat, for a start.

I've just seen a woman walking a RACCOON down the street on a lead. A raccoon! It didn't look very happy.

Are you certain it wasn't a dog on its way to the fancy dress office Christmas party?

I was staring at it thinking it was a fancy coat or something but it was a raccoon! There were other people saying 'is that a Raccoon?'

god, what a shit day. i don't think i've had one as bad as today in a while and for no particular reason either.

everything just feels so hopeless and meaningless. even the prospect of spending the evening with mr ameraal isn't eliciting more than a meh right now.

That sounds like the monday musings of someone who did far too much MDMA at the weekend.

Its how I expect to feel tomorrow but for now, I'm chipper.

Solanine is also in potatoes I think, hence why you can't eat uncooked ones. Well that, and they taste rank raw.
