I don't know really. Just somewhere more green than concrete, not too far out. But that's real long term when we're closer to retirement I think.

I've got friends who moved last summer from Ealing to Faringdon in Oxfordshire because they wanted out of London. They are both from Bath originally and wanted to move a little further west, but decided they need to remain closer because of work.

I genuinely love Bath and Bristol, I could live there.

I want to move to the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. Although if I did I'd probably HATE IT for a reason I haven't YET THOUGHT OF. :D

Someone has already asked to be moved away from her! :D

I mean, if somoen's personal hygiene isn't great, there's room for a conversation but how do you address THAT?

"Hi, thanks for coming to the meeting, let's keep this brief to be on the safe side, any chance you could lay off the fried egg and bean sandwiches? Cheers."

How far do you have to travel to hit a Tory seat?

Personally? About 70 miles or so, down to the Borders. That's a shorter trip than up to Aberdeen.

As much as I take comfort in living in a totally red city, it's depressing that I can't leave it without crossing into blue territory.

Only to crash into the Isle of Wight and their Tory MP.

    Or Rachey and Mand.

    Either way...

:D I’ve worked with endless sweaties and people would apparently rather bitch about it behind their backs, although personally I’d find it easy to tackle directly if required. (Actually I quite like a certain level of RIPE so I’d possibly not bother.) What I find extraordinary here (and highly amusing obviously; I’d have great trouble suppressing laughter) is that she thinks it’s alright to sit there loudly stanking out the office. Has she got some sort of LD?

When I worked in the hostel having those conversations were invariably a joy.

Almost as much as when you had to clear their rooms out later :zombie:

I initially thought you meant conversations with the staff. Mind you, it’s a thin line in those sorts of services :side-eye:

Not as bad as the staff in Older People’s services though. Key word: SINISTER

Most of the other staff were Salvationists. Far more offensive than a musty stench!

UGH. I'd have torched the place just to be on the safe side.
