We've finally had rain in Bolton! Winter Hill is still smouldering but today was the first day for weeks that the air seems fresher and I'm sure the firepeople will be happy to go home.

According to the BBC there is a possibility of thunderstorms, but those buggers have been teasing me with that prospect before.

    No rains here.

As usual, Lancashire is doing a sterling job of taking the hit for us.

Burst water main near the office. We're being asked to restrict water use. Including toilets.:sick::sick:

Honestly, weeks of glorious sun until the day I head to a festival.

That said, I'll be glad of it when I'm trying to pitch a tent after a line of ket.

Some of you might remember a few weeks ago when I bought a plant labelled 'aubergine' from a church sale with the lady telling me it was deffo a chilli.
Well the fruit has started to grow and it doesn't look like a chilli or aubergine.

    Watch this space.

I bought a chili plant in April and now it's nearly as tall as me. I've had to relocate it several times.

I'm wondering what it is now.

Why is “American Idiot” top 3 on iTunes? Is it something to do with Trump?

Last night I had the great pleasure of attending a concert by rap megastars and Eurovision icons Who See. I then had the greater pleasure of meeting them in the street straight after. They were down to Earth and presumably very funny if ever I could understand a fucking word they said.

OMG @lolly I was sitting rolling my eyes at your post about the rain earlier. I have taken my dog out a walk, and it started raining cats and dogs. It was ever so refreshing. I take it all back.

It's the most alert I've felt for weeks. I feel like I can walk rather than practically crawl.
