I slept like a fucking hostage and dreamt like an acid casualty. I'm clearly not doing enough during the day so I'd better have a hose down and get out and about for a bit.

I've been having some very weird dreams as of late too. Last night's had a roadman/turf war/gang rape kind of scenario going on. Then I decided it would make a great book/film and started writing it down, but then thought because everyone would have heard about it on the news it wouldn't be interesting.

    WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

MORNING. So my opioid crisis seems to have dissipated for now. Have a GP appointment later to see if they can give me something else. Think I'm going to start binge watching something later. Had so many suggestions of shows to watch, I didn't realise how LITTLE TV I actually watch.

So you wrote it down in your dream or in real life? It sounds like the story of every Jason Statham movie.

Speaking of the opioid crisis, I slept really bad too because I didn’t take any sleeping pills*.

I’ve been on these pills for almost two years now, they’re not the kind that makes you fall asleep but makes you sleep without waking up a thousand times per night. It took a while to reach the needed effect, but now I’m trying not to use them because they make me feel so damn (physically) tired.

It’s really tragic. I hope it won’t be the same in Europe.

(My sleeping pills are non-addictive anti-histamine type of drug. They don’t prescribe real sleeping pills here unless you’re like dying)

I've long held the (unfounded) view that medicines of any kind only make it worse in the long run. Obviously i'd accept cancer treatment or serious pain relief if i've had surgery but i don't take anything else and never will. I'd rather just find another way.

Well it's certainly TRUE of some medications, isn't it?

I am pretty anti medicine but pass me a line of some white powder you found in a baggie on the toilet floor and chances are I'll snort it.

I was against using medicine too until I realized not sleeping well for years was the source to all my troubles.

    Which ones?

A bottle of a decent strength CBD oil will cost about £40 - it'll last 2+ months. I can do £40 in a quiet trip to the pub

Fuck you can even get weak stuff for <£20, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I always suggest people start with a minimum 500mg/20ml oil, but if you can afford it 800mg/20ml
