The Christmas disc isn't really as essential as I hoped before buying, definately not worth £16.

Especially when the tracks were just bunged on as they were Christmas Mania extras so it seems!

The originals are the Xmas bonus disc are rather good now that I've listened a few times, especially I Wanna Kiss You So and Christmas Round At Ours.

"See The Day" is #8 in the latest airplay chart and #1 in the new video chart. I think it'll be able to make the top 5, if it doesn't noone can complain they didn't get enough support.

It certainly has plenty of exposure, and I think they may very well enter #4-#5. However, they could easily miss the top 5, too.

Realistically I'd say 25k-ish, which should be top 5.

I'm staggered by the lukewarm reception for Chemistry in this thread. For me Chemistry is where GA became GA. They'd messed about with a mish-mash of tracks written by all sorts of people in SOOU, and as Diddy perfectly summed up, "WWTNS is a bunch of songs (and a couple of amazing singles) from a lucky dip named "sassy girlband songs". This is where GA realised what they do well, how their 5 singers are best utilised and perhaps most importantly, Xenomania consistently fire on all cylinders from here on out.

    1. Intro - It's strange this is the only time GA did an intro. What is there to say? It's fun. Cheryl on her game.
    2. Models - I always liked it but I took me a while to love it. The baseline is what does it for me. More amazingly, Kimba steals the show for possibly the only time ever, on an album track at least. Memory of You will always be her best moment.
    3. Biology - When you think about it, Biology is just ridiculous. This was the first "wow" track they put out. I remember people who didn't know the girls names loving this track. Works on every level and surely has to be GA's best ever chorus.
    4. Wild Horses - I know everyone loves this but it feels a bit too WWTNS to me. I like it but it just hasnt got anything to grab on to. Ok intro, ok chorus, ok spoken lines. Nothing great on it.
    5. See the Day - GA's worst ever track. Looking back now this was precursor to Nadine's solo album. How this ever got green lit I will never know. It's a horrible song even to begin with.
    6. Watch Me Go - Now we're talking. This feels like what Wild Horses should have been. Much more emotion in the lines, a much better chorus and even the production is better. The background "whoa whoa whoaaa", Cheryl's "rapping" and then Sarah's "I know what you're thinking/You been thinking bout my butt" all kill it and all in about 60 seconds.
    7. Waiting - Not bad, not great. It's GA by the numbers really isnt it? Kind of like Wild Horses, it does everything ok but nothing great.
    8. Whole Lotta History - So good. Finally Kimba provides some use with her beautifully spoken intro. They all do well on this. It's so surprising that GA's ballads are when they are at their worst but then can produce something as good as this.
    9. Long Hot Summer - Everyone hates it, I dont. I realise it isnt a classic but its a fun song and I love the intro and the "buh buh buhhhh". Nadine's "So why do you bite me" really finishes it off well.
    10. Swinging London Town - What can you say about this? A song that sounds so ahead of its time that its something taken of OOC and gone back in time. Is it Girls Aloud's best non-single ever? I wouldnt disagree. The riffs are awesome and then out of nowhere you have the Nicola interlude which imo is one the best 30 seconds in GA's entire catalogue. Absolutely ingenious. A stunning track.
    11. It's Magic - And Nicola killed it so much in SLT that they give her a much deserved solo track. The production is top notch and I love Nicola's voice in this and the "You're in my thoughts all the time" outro is heart-breaking and proves that GA dont need to have a ballad to express emotion.
    12. No Regrets - Again feels like something from Nadine's solo album. I dont understand why this is here. We already have two ballads on this album, one awful and one amazing. No GA album should have three and takes the pace of the album in the worst way after the two tracks previous to this. It's pleasant enough but I skip it every time.
    13. Racey Lacy - I guess I would call this a guilty pleasure. It's impossible (for me at least) to not sing along every time its played! yes it's cheesy and I know most don't like it but it's a fun party track that doesn't take itself too seriously.
