    nice to see you get so much glee from the supposed under performance of an artist's self-penned début album.

    Thankfully I don't judge albums based on how many copies they've sold.

    I don't either. I judge it on the sound that comes from the speaker, and that album was memorable for all the wrong reasons.

    She MUST have been dropped, surely? Even the A&R man who signed her was given the heave ho.

    WELL I LOVE HER. :(

    She's not been in the Metro for at least a week, so yes that's probably the end. :(

    I had the misfortune of seeing VV Brown perform live at the Matter club in O2. Every song sounded like a total mess. Shark in the Water was the final song her and her band did, and you could sort of hear a tune struggling to escape, but it never quite made it.

    I love how you say it like it's self evident that she would have been dropped. The album charted at number 30 in the U.K. and Ireland. It was well received by critics.. Fortunately not everybody shares your opinion of her.

    No, just I do frequent a few music forums and this is the only one with such an irrational dislike of her. Seems like quite a few people can't think for themselves.

    Bandwagon anyone?

    Fantastic, good for you. You must have impeccable taste.

    Sadly for you, a lot of people did enjoy the album, so you can look forward to a second offering.

    It still amazes me that the majority of users on this forum hold an opinion which is at odds with nearly every review of the album I've read.

    * Metro 4/5 stars
    * MusicOMH 3.5/5 stars
    * Planet Sound (8/10)
    * Teentoday.co.uk 4/5 stars
    * The Guardian 4/5 stars
    * The Independent 3/5 stars
    * The Times 3/5 stars
    * Yahoo 7/10 stars

    They're all wrong, of course.

    No-one gives a FUCK what you think coldmanilk. Now stop wasting your time here BANGING YOUR HEAD against a BRICK WALL and go and promote her to someone who GIVES a FUCK.

    I hear her mum got two Susan Boyle albums for Xmas, and needs to return one. Maybe you could CONVINCE HER to buy it...

    The UK and Ireland don't combine their charts. Are you saying it got to #30 in Ireland separately?

    Wow, nice to see a little bit of aggression. Have you hit puberty yet?

    I can express my opinion however way I want to.

    I'm not promoting her, I'm just saying that some people on here are completely inconsistent and full of shit.

    If nobody GIVES A FUCK then why are there a number of threads about her? You can hardly expect people who have a differing opinion to shut up just because it might upset somebody like you.

    If that's the closest thing you can come to criticism that's pretty lame. I think it's perfectly obvious what I meant.

    Yes, I'm assuming you're intelligent enough to gather that no, the UK and Ireland do not combine their charts.

    Listen I don't give a WET FART about her. She's barely entered my consciousness aside from on here. I just can't STAND YOU and your constant over promoting (well defending as it is on here) of her. Most people on here think she's shit. So what? MOVE ON. I hope there's no-one paying you for this SHIT, coz their money has been SADLY WASTED.

    God forbid anybody should express an opinion that doesn't accord with yours. So if I don't think she's shit, I'm not allowed to say?

    We're allowed to have 5 threads bashing her, but when somebody voices a differing opinion that's 'defending her'? Nice logic.

    I doubt any record company would waste their money promoting anybody on this forum.
