God I love them so much. Better Off Alone and Back In My Life are SUCH 1999 classics for me, but there is much to enjoy in the rather spazzier minor hits too.

    WILL I EVER
    FALL IN LOVE
    and IF I DO
    Will it BE with YOU?

This was the soundtrack to 18th birthday parties for me :disco:

Was it Kim from the Vengaboys who did the vocals or something convoluted like that?

Better Off Alone is inarguably their finest moment, but I love Back In My Life just as much if not slightly more. SO MANY MEMORIES.

It was properly everywhere back then. I remember the video pretty much shot for shot.

It seems as though the songs WERE sung by Judith Anna PRONK, who fronted the whole thing. SHOCKING STUFF. :o

    What a fabulous name!

The Lonely One was an early victim of the CURSE of VoR. I remember thinking it was going to be HUGE. :(

'Better Off Alone' is one of those songs that sums up a time for me, really is much much better than it should be.

Those singles and the album (title anyway, Who needs guitars anyway? :disco:)... definitely a place and time for me.

Will I ever, in particular, that turn of the millennium nostalgia! *dies*

Watching this it's like that miming cosmetics girl was the new Madonna for 3 whole minutes. Just look at her go on the penis-shaped catwalk:

'Who Needs Guitars Anyway?' was released TWENTY years ago. :(

I was devastated to realise this after I dug the album out last night.

    love this
Absolutely no emotional connection to the song :D
“look at me standing here, crying out my final tears” beaming :D
And around 1:50 “my love is much too strong”, weird facial expression

It's all the drugs she's had to take to numb the pain. She probably had her head down a toilet 5 minutes later. Where did the she get the energy, indeed.
