I only have 'I Feel For You' and a compilation.

I like it, but can't really rave about it.

i read some really bad reviews of it, though it seems to be the most popular one

    "a one-hit wonder album" :Oi:

I've not got it but I've always rather fancied it - probably cause of the Prince connection. In any event, it's got at least TWO fantastic tracks on it - the title track and "Through The Fire" (as sampled a couple of years back by Kanye West).

The only Chaka album I've got is The Woman I Am from 1992. I haven't listened to it for so long, I really couldn't tell you what it's like...

Even though I'm not really familiar with most of her older stuff, I do LOVE her new single.

It's called 'Disrespectful' and features Mary J Blige.

I'd forgotten how good 'Eye To Eye' is. But the rest doesn't really do that much for me.

Clouds would be my Chaka PICK.

I have a best of, the remix album and Feel For You, which I like although I find she gets a bit garbled on the ballads for my tastes.

I see she's got a new album coming out called FUNK THIS.

I don't really know much about Rick James although he does sound SUPER FREAKY duetting with Chaka on 'Slow Dancin'

    Did she perform?

No idea why "Disrespectful" is just getting released now. There are some club mixes hanging around... downloaded them but not listened yet. One of them is Calvin Harris...

this is now my favourite chaka song (along with clouds, i feel for you and the obvious hits)

    <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/KJEIQX9d4kY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

i've been playing it non-stop over the last couple of weeks for no apparent reason and feeling all the more fabulous for it

I don't know much of her singles discography I'm sorry to say but the new one and Like Sugar are both fantastic.

She managed to get third spot on the Spotify New Music Friday playlist as well which was surprising.

I thought Like Sugar was a bit grating but Hello Happiness is a much more agreeable groove. Very good.

She certainly seems to have pulled it back since that unfortunate triple bill tour with L**u and Anastacia some years back.

Hello Happiness is a nice groove. Hopefully whatever she drops next will be a bit WARMER / more shamelessly bangerish though

Oh you just know it'll be a jazzy ballad...

Chaka has pushed the boat out to seven whole songs on her upcoming album but she does look quite foxy on the cover:
