I heard she spoke whale to a fan and then flicked her vagina.
I have nothing to add except that Mariah conducted herself like a class act and a trans ally in both her clips. QUEEN.
I’ve just remembered the incident of that poor woman (who obviously had nothing better in her life and was just trying to have a nice day out and is probably DEAD now) having the audacity to help herself to more of Beelzebub McCunty’s cheap shitty rancid merch than was permitted and was publicly shamed, not to mention being given DEATH STARES
I hope someday Ellen googles herself and finds out about these FACTS that's she's not even aware.
I don't think it's possible to accumulate half a billion dollars without being at least a touch EVIL.
The big question is, is she better or worse than Lulu?
Lesbians are evil.
Oh absolutely! I'm convinced that once you hit around 250million you receive a phone call inviting you to the child sex island.
Obviously worse. Technology has developed - nuclear yields are far more powerful now and it is much easier to be evil than it was in 1969
WORSE. She’s also worse than Nadia Sawalha, Cilla and that other noisy hog off Loose Women who can’t keep her trap shut
What about Janft?
Hold your ponies, Zu. She's only WORSE than Cilla in the sense that Cilla has the DECENCY to REMAIN DEAD.
Such RELATABLE CONTENT
The more I think about it, has there ever been a case of a genuinely famous celebrity being 'cancelled' and actually experiencing negative impact on their career/ability to make money? Maybe I'm forgetting some obvious example, but I'm convinced that above a certain level of fame you can basically do whatever you like (it's a bit of a clichéd example I know, but Chris Brown had a number one album last year with collaborators including Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj).
Kevin Spacey is pretty much the only example recently, and even then I'd put that in the Weinstein/John Leslie category of the cancellation mostly coming from actually breaking the LAW
Does the title of this thread keep changing or do we have multiple?
"you stood in LINE?"
"I stood in LINE!"
FOR THE LOVE OF MARIA, MAGDALENA AND BABY JESUS!
Just sounds like a normal Friday afternoon to me
I’ve managed to convince a few people about Lulu in recent years. They never realised until a BBC special on her career when her arrogance just shined through in the interviews.
That's true, I suppose sex stuff and the law sniffing around will put a dent in my theory
Pre disappearance from public eye, didn’t that Diet Coke advert just destroy Duffy? But I suppose she wasn’t a major name.
John Leslie got cancelled whilst being cleared on all charges. Phil Spector was convicted of murder after shooting his partner in the head and you can still buy his Christmas album every fucking year without fail.
2.1.2. We're calling out ableism now.
See, I don't know if that proves or disproves the theory - you could argue that Leslie wasn't above the fame threshold, as a local star (and easily replaceable in his chosen field). Oh maybe it's just a load of old bollocks either way
First she was just a cunt, now she's pure evil. Can't wait for the HITLER comparisons
not okay. Hitler is not here to defend himself
The definition of lesbian has been shifting by the hour for centuries.
*waits for Jiva to post Roseanne Barr picture*
I changed it from bitch to evil because the former felt a bit misogynistic and I DON'T PlAY THAT.
I remember when Kathy Griffin went on Ellen and Ellen decided to ‘call her out’ for being ‘mean’
(from 7:30 )
It’s certainly what I’ve found to be true of life though, that the ones who lead the moral crusade are actually much worse behind-the-scenes than the people who have a sense of humour about themselves and other people and make open jokes. That clip of Oprah and Ellen brag-joking about when they last went to the bank is exactly the sort of thing that would be prime for making fun of, and I suspect Oprah would find it funny and Ellen would blast it as VILE MEAN BEHAVIOUR
Ellen’s great brand of comedy includes tricking people into going for job interviews. Look at the candidates faces in the last 30 seconds - NOT FUNNY
Personally I don’t think there’s anyone more evil alive or dead
but then Ellen danced and everyone felt GREAT TRANSCENDENTAL HAPPINESS
that poor man's face, he's crushed
Well they look thrilled and barely able to contain hysterical peals of laughter
I don’t know why we’re surprised at the content, her show is shit
Oh I think we need more hilarious clips from this mean-spirited, nasty woman’s crappo show to make us hate her more
I'll still maintain that Wanda Sykes's bits are funny
Love this and Kathy Griffin pioneering all of this over a decade ago. Let's all not forget her awful tenure as an American Idol judge.
