Since Joanne has just leaked all over the hall carpet, I thought it might be a good idea to collect our initial thoughts, verdicts and charcoal drawings regarding the garage-rock album of the year in this thread.

The opening 30 seconds are...tough. Quite possibly the most horrific experience of my life.

Ok, haven't heard everything yet, but two 11/10 moments detected so far:

    - the new Alejandro is finally here and it's an ode to masturbation. :disco:

    - the Red One ballad is arguably one of the best. The production, the lyrics, the haunting melody, it's just incredible.

Sorry not to bow to the Moopy consensus, but I'm about 5 tracks into this and I quite like it?

She sounds like Scarlett Johanson on "Joanne". I like it.

Poor Gags. All she's doing is trying to express her ARTISTRÉ and all she gets is gays calling her FANNY NAMES :disco:

Maybe I spoke too soon. The rest of the album is very messy.

On a whole I'd say the whole thing is 5/10

Can someone pop it on that throne that she no longer wants?

And also tell me what the address and password are - it's been a while.

    In the special place now.

I'm just about to start listening. I'm so grateful that Gaga has opened up music with guitars in for everyone, I barely even knew what one was before. (despite this I'm crossing my fingers that it might be somehow ok)

I'm 4 songs in and REALLY liking it so far... the thing I was worried about was it being full of acoustic guitar ballads, but all the tracks have been upbeat and energetic so far... Can't tell you which one I preferred - the quality has been pretty good.

Track 5 has just started: Dancin' In Circles - weird faux reggae beat a la Alejandro, but more acoustic sounding than that. This one isn't a winner for me so far - a bit of a mess. But it might grow on me later.

Well I think the first half is better than the second, but I'm pleasantly surprised by how good the album sounds together as a whole.

I don't think it's very good at all.

I like A-Yo. It sounds like the spiritual successor to Miley's 4X4.

I'm loving it still. The only track I really dislike is the Florence one. A-Yo is great!
