Taika Waititi’s latest movie is supposed to be this hilarious edgy nazi parody

It’s just another tedious sappy world war 2 story with some jokes tacked on it. Some of the jokes were funny but then you’d go stretches with no jokes and just sub par basic drama that bored me to tears. Such a disappointment.

I rather enjoyed it, but no more than an episode of Allo Allo.

I’m just back from seeing this. I thought it was great. Genuinely funny throughout and the cast were really strong.

Yeah, I enjoyed this way more than I was expecting to. Often funny and quite moving at times too.

Yep, I liked it a lot too. I thought the balance of comedy/sentiment was pretty much dead on. The child actors were brilliant, Scarlett Johansson was very good and Rebel Wilson far better suited to this than whatever the hell she was doing in Cats.

I really enjoyed this. It was a great balance of funny and touching, if a tad predictable.

I thought this was great. Very funny in parts, and then made me CRY BIG SAD TEARS.

Also, the interiors and ScarJo's wardrobe... a serve.
