So there we have it! We have the semi final running order.

Just a few more STATS: Semi final 1 has songs in 13 languages. Semi final 2 has songs in 12 languages.

The countries were matched to the songs as closely as possible based on nationality or language. There were a few which did NOT match but the allocation was as CLOSE as possible.

    Some other RULES:

ANYONE, both participants and non-participants can vote in both semi finals, however you MUST vote in the semi-final you are participating in. If you do NOT vote, you will be DISQUALIFIED.

You can discuss whether you LIKE or DISLIKE a song but any discussion on VOTING INTENTIONS or POINTS is strictly forbidden until AFTER the final has taken place and a winner is crowned. Think classic Big Brother rules.

You can discuss who you THINK may have sent in a song but you cannot reveal which song you sent or which country you are representing.

Preferably do NOT post songs that you ALMOST sent because you will not be able to use them for future Kalavisions.

@Kalabaliken Why are you posting rules at Post 210 in a thread that loads of people might not even look at? Have you literally just made these up right now?

And why are you selecting your OWN position in the running order of a competition you are competing in? How come the rest of us all have these elaborate and overzealous rules but you can determine your own position in the running order?

    Asking for a friend.

Just you wait until Kala adds up all the scores and mysteriously wins by a margin of 103,282.

Do running orders actually make a difference in these things?

Maybe that's why i'm so good at coming last :o

Bit unfair. Kala's running the show he can place his entry where he sees fit.

And the other rules aren't exactly new or shocking.

I mean I don't really care MUCH at all, but the wild hypocrisy of having two billion rules for all the contestants, but having the audacity to place yourself an 'Executive Supervisor' when you are a contestant yourself is utter lunacy.

Chill with the rules or disqualify yourself man.

Not sure that running order has an impact if there's a Spotify playlist.

Why are you being so ANAL about everything? Are you TRYING to DRIVE me away again?

I didn't see the point in giving the FULL details of the voting rules when people were still selecting the songs and thought it was best to wait until nearer the time. I will of course, remind everyone of the rules tomorrow and when voting starts.

As for my own entry, I did a random number generator earlier this afternoon for my own slot, which I took a screenshot of with the time. I obviously haven't sent this to anyone as it will reveal my entry, but I have as evidence in case anyone wants to see it.

If you aren't happy with anything you can always WITHDRAW. After all it's only meant to be a bit of fun.

'So unfair' even though no-one else has ever done it before? All these other hosts have had fewer rules, but had the common courtesy to realise that putting themselves in the competition is probably a bit odd.

If he didn't have such strictness in the rules for all of us, then it wouldn't irk me so much.

Like you say, his competition, his rules, but I'm sure in the next few days someone is going to say SOMETHING that Kala deems a break of the rules and disqualify them, and all hell will break loose.

I CANNOT fucking win with you @cwej . You tell me to be more assertive with running the competition and make decisions then when I am you say it's TOO MUCH. Which is it to be?

The rules are hardly THAT severe - don't talk about voting, don't talk about your song or country, you must vote in your semi.

And LOL. One criticism and I'm trying to 'drive you away' again? Not at all. I'm just pointing out some of the silliness of the whole scenario.

Anyway... looking forward to seeing/hearing the songs tomorrow! Let's go.
