Yeah but she knew she'd fucked it. She took an approach, it failed, she knew it.

I feel like that's still giving her too much credit. I mean, her article in the Guardian afterwards really shows her as the car crash that she is!

    Queen!

Seriously, I know she’s gay interest only, but it would absolutely not be the same without her

If she pulls out and backs the right horse, there'll be a shadow cabinet position in it for her. Otherwise, enjoy her while she lasts.

THIS. It's a wonder NOTHING EVER GETS ACHIEVED when it takes about THREE YEARS to elect a new leader.

We held a general election within a tighter timeframe.

The voting process for this hasn’t even started yet. Just GET ON WITH IT.

I’m worried what’s going to happen to Em’s hedge if she doesn’t get on the ballot :(

No you haven't? Presuming you're a party member. It's not open to the wider membership yet, it's still finalising who is on the ballot.

Which is why this REMAINS A LUDICROUS FARCE!

I'm not a party member. I'm a member through my union. Does that mean my vote is worth the same as a party member, or my vote just informs who my union endorses? As I had an email from the union last week stating the deadline was then, I'm assuming the latter.

I recieved an email from my union confirming I can vote as an affiliate member in the leadership election so I imagine you’ll be in the same position.

She should have visited some constituency party meetings brandishing her hedge trimmers.

I know they’ve all done pre-recorded acceptance speeches, but is there going to be any kind of livestream?

Praying for a healthy Kier victory.

I voted for Kier. I literally can't bear to see that dreadful Rebecca woman popping up on my newsfeed anymore, so hopefully he wins.

I hope Emily has recorded her acceptance speech (you can’t lose if you’re not on the ballot) in front of her hedge
