The entire album is utterly amazing, I can't decide my favourite between Dance In the Dark, Teeth or Alejandro. My only GRIPE is the pointless appearance by Beyonce on Telephone, its completely mindblowing without her POINTLESS CAMEO.

The copy I downloaded has some track called No Way tacked on at the end. Where did this come from? It sounds almost identical to Britney's Quicksand.

So Happy I Could Die and Teeth are a bit CRAP on first listen, but overall it's a WHOPPER.

Teeth sounds too much like a Xtina song i.e. NOT GOOD

The other songs range from pleasant to SUPERB though

Apparently Bad Romance contains a sample from this song which she used without permission.

I had a listen throught the new songs:

    09
Bad Romance - almost better than Poker Face
08 Alejandro - really a modern version of Ace of Base
07 Monster - I like the shot-sounds. A bit nowhere going in the chorus but nice.
10 Speechless - amazing, how very Linda Perry
08 Dance in the dark - pretty lovely
02 Telephone - NO NO NO NO
04 So happy - bit boring
    02 Teeth -no

I asked my girlfriend if she’d seen you round before
She mumbled something while we got down on the floor baby
We might’ve fucked not really sure, don’t quite recall
But something tells me that I’ve seen him, yeah

    :D

Me neither. It's apparently just the sound at the start of the song. Can someone claim to own it??

I dunno. It really comes down to if she 'stole' it from the song or if she did her own version of it, like an interpolation... sounds like the latter to me.

I have decided i really love 'Bad Romance' so will buy the Fame Monster.

Other than 'Poker Face' i have let her totally pass me by. Her other stuff just hasn't done anything for me.

Then again i like my popstars rubbish and quite desperate (hello Katerine and Kate Ryan). Maybe that is why.

    GO GAGA :disco:

LSL is far too tragic for me to ever be fully on her team.

MY GOD I love this whole album now. Speechless is beautiful (Again Again to the thousandth degree) and Bad Romance is a TERRIFIC lead single. I also LOVE Telephone despite how over-produced it is (the STOP CALLING STOP CALLING bit, which I think is probably the chorus, is majestic) as well as Alejandro which I hated in demo form and Monster which is RedOne-by-numbers but still all kinds of fabulous.

I quite like So Happy and Dance In The Dark but there's a little something missing from both. Teeth sucks.

I'm STILL confused as to what's happening with the release, in terms of it getting a separate one.

The single disc is only going to be made available in the US. In the UK we still need to purchase it with The Fame. It's only £9 on hmv.com so it's not TOO BAD.

BUT she's claiming that there will be further versions available throughout the next year with different artwork, so maybe the single Monster will be released then.

It all makes my head hurt.

And then there's the UK deluxe version, and the International one to consider. But the UK one is a fiver cheaper on amazon at least.

So basically it will just be 'The Fame' (The Fame Monster Edition) in the UK where it will count for sales for 'The Fame'? I think it's vice versa in the States where you can buy 'The Fame Monster' with 'The Fame' as a bonus or just buy 'The Fame Monster' individually. What a mess

Yeah, from what I've gathered the sales will be classed as for The Fame like any other re-release.

She really doesn't do anything by halves does she?

Who cares what format it comes in? In the download age, it's increasingly irrelevant

It's just a bunch of new songs

Because she's been trumpeting on about all these different Super-Duper Megarare Collector's Edition versions of Monster. It's nice to know what ones ARE available to buy and not ideas that exist in the MIND OF GAGA.

I'll be doing as I intend on trying to do with all my non-pet artists from now on - downloading and waiting until the end of the campaign for whatever superdeluxe edition is the last one standing.

The album was VERY instant for me, although "Speechless" has been a grower for me as well. I think she NEEDS to release it as a single, it will add another dimension to her career.

    It's not un-Gaga at all

She's always done the Freddie Mercury piano ballads - anyone who owns The Fame will know that
