New album title confirmed by the lady herself during her Video of the Year Winner Speech :disco:

To be fair, it could be a statement in support of PETA or not.

It sounds awful! I knew she was going to do a boring ballad.

It was an impromptu unplugged snippet of a new song, how else was she going to perform it? That said, I do hope it ends up being a gay disco stomper

I doubt that will be a single, just the title track.

When she first premiered Bad Romance in SNL (?) she sang it on a piano and look how THAT turned out!

I was just going to say that PIPES. I remember thinking "Bad Romance" sounded just okay when she did SNL.

This actually sounds good I think.

I love the premise of it. You can tell this is going to be one big GAYFEST :disco:

I thought she was live tattooing the album title on herself at midnight on New Year's Day or something?

It's clearly a gay anthem in the making

I wouldn't be surprised if they end up releasing it earlier than intended. There's no point in sitting on it if it's there.

It's the new BEAUTIFUL that will be sung at EVERY audition for X-Factor and the likes.

And it will get a grammy, and I will love it. Hopefully.

Maybe she'll do it anyway, I can't remember her saying that she'd reveal it at the VMAs. It sounds like the Cherrytree version of Poker Face, very theatrical, which is probably a good sign.

I have no idea if there will be a video :o
I thought the Fame Monster era was over and wanted to hear the first BTW single.

Probably as Alejandro did so well they want to make even more money of it.

Elton John talked about a possible collaboration with Lady Gaga and her upcoming studio album Born This Way in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly:

“I love her, and I love her ability to write. There’s a chance I might do one track with her, but she’s so busy and I’m so busy, we can never get together! But her record – it’s fucking amazing. ‘Born This Way’, which is the title song, will completely get rid of Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive’. This is the new ‘I Will Survive’. That was the gay anthem. This is the new gay anthem. Actually, it’s not a gay anthem – it can apply to anybody.”

    ANTHEM :disco:

WISE choice of words at the end there Elton :D Wouldn't want to take the blame if people do start referring it as a gay anthem

In a BIZARRE twist, the new single in Mexico after Alejandro is Eh Eh Eh

That's never been her mantra thus far, has it :disco:

Still if it has a hit rate as high as The Fame Monster, I'm sold. Or at least I only need to edit out half of one CD to make a killer playlist.

I am genuinely quite excited about this, 20 tracks does seem a bit like overkill though. I assume that there will be some The Fame-style padding.
