And we have a topic.
Was good yeah.
5 minutes in and mainly LAY OFF THE MAKE UP LOVE.
I just felt the editing and style was so trope-y and cliche-riddled. There was a much better (maybe shorter) doc in there. She comes out of it well insofar as there's a couple of things a lot of people would have cut out that make her look pretty bad but overall, she seems like a normal human, albeit an intense, slightly-wonky one.
That's pretty much what I want to hear.
Can't believe Patsy Palmer got into this.
Ironic that she'd tell someone else off for yelling, when that's what she basically does, but in tune.
My highlight was Donatella Versace awkwardly meeting Barbara Bush.
What the fuck? Is this real? Do I need to watch?!
You'll know who he means when you see it...
She seemed to be permanently STONED
Also some of it was insufferable like the making of Joanne, in particular that awful song with Florence. But then watching the making of that album was never likely to be much fun...
I've never really cared for these fly on the wall docs following people as they EAT A SANDWICH and talk about the process of a particularly dull album track so I probably shouldn't have bothered.
