I actually quite like this and I am not a fan at ALL! Having said that, it's easy to see that it's not a sensible lead single.

now get back to the drawing board Jo, no one cares about your rockabilly acoustic album with real music made from real instruments.

Unlike 'Applause', I'm certainly not upgrading this to a 10. 7 still feels about right.

    I'm downgrading it to a 3. A 6 was too generous.

One of the few songs I'd still bother to revisit from Joanne.

I don't have the mental fortitude to search through 9 pages but did people really think this ripped off Papa don't preach? Talk about CLUTCHING AT STRAWS. Presumably that whole mashup was just to point out that 5-note snippet was the same melody. Sad!

Still hate the album but this has got even better for me now that it can breathe without the weight of expectation. I adore that it's essentially a nervous breakdown set to pop. 10

I like it a lot and wish the album had sounded more like this. More aggressive and uptempo with screaming - the way I like my Gaga. I do enjoy the album but the second half really drops off.

Let's face it, it's OKAY but let's not get carried away here.. I mean it's hardly PAPARAZZI or JUST DANCE.

To think that this post is not even a year old yet!

I mean at least the posts where I detailed how I burnt the HUNG UP demo versions onto CDs to take with me on my nights out so DJs could play it are probably all gone in some Moopy old site crash

"Applause" is weird because I agree with Lolly AND Suedey- TECHNICALLY it's SO a ten, but comparatively it can't be when up against "Bad Romance", "Alejandro", Paparazzi' and "Telephone"...

Applause is a solid 7, probably even an 8 and perhaps a 9 if I'm the right mood for it, but for me it's never been close to a 10.

So 8/10 seems like a fair assessment as far as I am concerned at least.

Perfect Illusion.. well, the less said about it the better.

"Applause" is leagues above this, and definitely BTW these days. "Perfect Illusion" just sounds so amaturish, and at the end of the day it doesn't even sound like it vaguely fits in the direction of the album so its existence is just v inexplicable to me.
