Ooh, that makes me want to watch Pitch Perfect.

FUN FACT! Any time I have watched Pitch Perfect I have then slept with someone I watched it with.

Bonus fun fact. My boss watched Pitch Perfect the night of my first date with @COB.

i've only had half a bottle of wine. Might move on to the 11% beer i've got sat in my fridge. The night is young (and so is @Soldi)

I've had a couple of tinnies of Kopparberg...

Do you have TINNIES of Kopperberg? I don't know the proper parlance.

Ah, the famous phrase which originated in those most northerly countries of Australia and New Zealand.

I say tinnies, but I don't know whether that's a carry-on from living in Scotland. And I'd probably only use it to describe tins to drink on a train.

Also I've been drinking cocktails alone all night... I can't believe I've done such a good job perfecting my mixology only to not be able to host anyone for the foreseeable. :(

Should you not be posting in the secret word thread? It seems like the drink might make you more easily manipulated and Dark Carnival is in France.

One of my aunts says "tinnies" when she's making her annual "do you still go camping with tinnies" interrogation

My friend's hairline started receding at like 20 so that doesn't mean much

Speak for yourself. I've probably got more hair on my head than every other male on Moopy combined.

I'm Northern and seem to have avoided that, but wish I could shave my hair off right now. Even when the barbers re-open they'll be booked up for MONTHS

I did note that a local barbers to me has opened up an appointment system already.

Part of me enjoys the free-for-all that is a male barber queuing system, I'll actually quite enjoy being able to walk in and not face a potential hour wait.

I’m dreading going to a barber again and them seeing the damage I did with my QUARANTINE CUT.

I get so on edge at the barber queuing system, having to try and track how many were there on arrival and who comes in after and where they sit... ugh. But I do seem reasonably competent at it

The only person you need to remember is the person who arrived after you. It's a reasonable system.

But if there are 4 people there already how do you avoid accidentally queue jumping if you don't keep track of them? Or let someone accidentally queue jump you if a bunch of people come in while you're waiting?

Because the person before you will have remembered who you were, so you won't be able to queue jump. And the person before that will remember them.

As for the second question, that doesn't happen. It's not like a biker gang ever suddenly rock up together.

I saw Barrow on the TV the other day and i thought of you, @Cloud. In addition to being the heroin death capital of the UK, it's also the coronavirus capital of the UK, apparently. Well done.

That's putting a lot of faith in the people in front to speak up, which if they're like me, they won't
As to the second part, it happened last time I was in - busy town, not many barbers

Thanks! Luckily I'm resident a couple of towns down the road, but go to Barrow for shopping and such, so don't enjoy Tommy and co getting in the way.

AFAIK, the corona part is because the Morecambe Bay Trust hospitals (Barrow and Lancaster) have been doing a lot more tests than anywhere else, so the numbers are greater in Barrow and Lancaster because of that. That said, the people around here don't seem to give two shits about distancing.
