Oh I DO love this one (probably posted about three posts back :side-eye:) and its lovely warm synths, and goodness me those Fun Fun ladies certainly had a way with that RED HOT HOUSE SOUND :disco:

Of course this one famously features the soulful vox of Carol Dorafiglio recorded while she was trying to curl out an especially enormous toughie :disco:

Oh the double-edged sword of a THICK MEATY PASTA

That's always been my favourite part (apart from the clenched fist)!. :disco:

You get the full benefit of that potato sack/grey tabbard wonder in motion.

I've never seen this sultry performance by maestra Alba on Good Morning Italia before. Featuring a GRABBY Serge Gainsbourg.

So was he pissed silly in the MORNING? Mind you, lovely Miss Alba looks a bit half-cut herself and, as I’ve probably pointed out before, all of those beautifully sung Nicolosi anthems are weirdly Quaaludey and really quite fucked to say the VERY least

What WAS going on mid-1980s Italy? :D

I’m sure I read somewhere that hopeless alcoholic Miss Alba actually sang on that one which sounds most implausible. I bet it was Carol Dorafiglio hanging upside down AS PER :disco:

:D Is it someone’s living room? Loving the beautiful visual poetry of the fallen leaves of time followed by a quick linger on the cranny

    Also, NICE TOWELS AND NETS

I’ve been stuck in an Alba Parietti loop this morning. She has a completely different voice on every song. :D

Not strictly italo-disco but I think this could be her real voice:

Such grace and elegance as she squats down the steps.

It's far to NICHÉ to put in the ZSA ZSA MEMORIAL but I was inconsolable to learn that poor ROSE popped her clogs last April :(

    Oh NO INDEED :(

POOR LOVE. I see from Wikipedia that she was the singer of the original French version of ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ which I bet is a right carry-on so I must seek that out instantly, as well as forcing myself to sob uncontrollably to ‘Quand tu pars’ OBVIOUSLY
