I found Willam pretty awful the first time I watched S4. His work outside of the season is what brought me around to him, although he is firmly in the camp of queens who I enjoy but imagine are pretty objectionable human beings.

The more I think about it, the more pretty much all the good shit I can remember from S4 happens in Untucked.

    "Is the carpet comfortable?"
"This is NOT RuPaul's Best Friend Race!"
"Your tone seems very pointed right now"
Jiggly's exhausting but oddly endearing weekly meltdowns
    Dita Von Teese
"Do you REALLY think I was GENUINELY upset that I didn't win a FUCKING CRUISE?" "YES!"

Could someone point me in the direction of the first three episodes of Untucked for season 4, please? Episode 4 onwards are on YouTube, but I'm not seeing the earlier ones unless they are well hidden.

Finished season 4 now, and yes it's better than 7. I agree with VoR that a lot of the good stuff must have been in Untucked though (which I've still not watched), as even in the final there were references to things I've never seen.

Oh and I've come around to Willam a bit after the final as well. I realised that I struggle with him as a man, but in drag I can appreciate her.

She completely stole that Ru-union. Phi Phi forever clueless. Her Barbara Cartland wig and legs apart on that stool was the icing on the splattened cake.

I'm now only missing what Netflix doesn't have - season 1, and AS1 & AS2. Does anyone know where I can find them? I've not torrented for ages, but will give it a go again if necessary.

I've very much got the impression from everything I've read here that my Drag experience has been building to All Stars 2.

Thanks for those suggestions. I'll try them out later.

If you're going to watch all of them then start with season 1, the AS1 and save the best of the very best til last!

Yes, but do I put myself through season 1 and AS1 first? I'm usually all about instant gratification.

I feel like the worst gay ever (true story) as a very recent convert to drag race.

Currently on season 3, with the final 4, Raja feels like the obvious winner since Stacy Layne Matthews (relation to Shannon Matthews?) was robbed.

I know Drag Race should have taught me better, but looking at Stacy Layne Matthews made me feel sick.

Season 1 and AS1 are good for the completist, but hardly essential. AS1 is basically the Biophilla to AS2's Homogenic.

S1 and AS1 are essential for miss Tammie Brown being in town.

Even though she was only my #3 from All Stars, I'd say Alyssa is the one who benefitted the most from AS2. What a fantastic character developement from her season.

The Tyra drama keeps on giving 7 seasons later, season 9 could never etc... If you thought Tatiana was the queen of spoken word from season 2, then Tyra has just snatched all your weaves by releasing this 12 minute long spoken word piece recounting all of the recent drama with her and the other season 2 queens. It really has no right to be as amazings as it is, imagine Tyra channeling Maya Angelou talking about petty drag queen shit, then times it by 1000%

When does that spoken word get good? I've got to a minute or so, and apart from thinking he said "Amerle-lica" it's not setting anything off. It sounds more like how I imagine that smiley pitcrew guy would sound than the trademark Tyra drawl.

Finished AS2 last night. I totally get the hype.

And yes, Read U Wrote U is absolutely a Drag Race pinnacle.

I prefer Alyssa to Detox in almost every respect. There's something abrasive about Detox that I simply cannot warm to. And let's not get started on the hair and brows.

But in terms of bringing it to the runway, arguably the best all round performance of any queen EVER, surely?
