London Skyline 2012 (and beyond)

    I love it but I can't see it ever happening. Also the City of London seems like a strange place for a tourist attraction.

    This has basically come about because the owners of the Gherkin are disappointed that it's now hidden behind a load of taller towers, and they want to squeeze in something on the same site to get more value from the land.

    But for an attraction whose main purpose is a viewing gallery? It's even on the wrong side of the City so views of the West End etc. will be obscured.
