So old cities aren't allowed to move on. This is such an european oldfashioned opinion. If I think of the BOOM-AREAS in our current world, non of the european cities belongs to them. Soon we'll be the undeveloped farmers in this world. Dubai, China, India will laugh at us, if we stop moving! In Germany we have the word "Museumsdorf". Couldn't find a translation. Museumsdorf means "museumvillage". A village with old historical buildings. People who work there wear oldfashioned clothes and simulate the historical life. It's like Disney World, but those buildings are real. Your vision of Europe sounds like a HUGE Museumsdorf! Edit: But I agree that we should think carefully about our changes! We aren't Dubai. We need to find a healthy mixture between old and new. London and Berlin are doing a good job IMO.
Germany was one of the lucky ones. It was actually ON the map. Though I think it somehow managed to swallow both Hungary and Poland...
I don't understand how 2 buses start their route 8-10 minutes apart yet by the time they get to my stop, they're together.
I've never been a fan of Germany as a country it has to be SAID I'm very interested in its history but I just don't find anything appealing or worth visiting
Because the first one has to stop more often and for longer periods because people are waiting for it... therefore because the first one has picked up so many people, the 2nd one goes faster and catches the other one up as it has less stops to make. That in turn delays the next one, because more people miss the 2nd bus that were aiming for that one, so more people get the 3rd bus which means it stops more, so the 4th bus catches the 3rd bus up. Which is why they always come in twos.
I've been to Munich once before - not the Oktoberfest, but to a normal beer hall. The waitresses are AMAZING - they carry 6-8 of those massive litre glasses in one go. We could barely lift one with two hands. FABULOUS.
I've got some pictures of my in laws somewhere in FULL LEDERHOSEN GET UP from when they went last year. They LOVED it
Hey that is not true What makes you think so Come here first, before you judge! Oktoberfest is nice but very stressful if you don't like masses and masses of people. But basically Munich is a booze-town for the whole period of it.
AS IF I'm going to go splattering pictures of them all over the NET I've never even posted a picture of Mr C, so his parents DEFINITELY won't be making an appearance
That was really just wanting to know what makes him think so!! I think you should still be able to have different opinions without rising anything!! In my experience there are so many Italians there
