Acting is well ropey but the story line has the right balance of Sci-fi and drama wrapped together. I like it and only 3 episodes in. Gonna binge this one, I think.

I gave it a chance and loved it despite a distict lack of acting talent. I've only got two episodes left to watch and I'm saving them for the weekend. The Robinson "mum" and "dad" can't act for toffee and "Dr Smith" always looks like she's suddenly going to run off-scene screaming that the wasps are in her hair. I love the robot though.

Well, finally finished. The last episode held lots of surprises, hope it gets a second series.

I watched about 20 minutes of the first episode and gave up.

    I wouldn't have you down as a sci-fi fan @lolly

What made you give up? If you like sci-fi and it was the acting (or lack thereof) that put you off it's worth sticking with.

I'm not a sci fi fan. I just have very fond memories of the original, so felt I had to at least give it a chance.

Likewise. I love scifi and this was utter dogshit.

That’s just it, I think. It’s giving equal footing to the sci-fi and drama. I guess maybe a bit too much for some to handle.
