I gave this floppy disk another listen today and I'm not sure if it was the nostalgia talking, but I was genuinely enjoying mos of the tracks. Her voice is very absent from the album as a whole and there's a very tacky quality to the whole thing. Maybe it's because Mariah was at her sluttiest in 2000/2001. Or maybe it's because of all the silly covers. Or maybe it's the kitschy giggles, 80s percussion and ridiculous "sugar daddy" references. Despite it all, Loverboy is still a Fab-Fag track. Last Night a DJ Saved My Life, I Didn't Mean to Turn You On, Never Too Far and Don't Stop are all guilty pleasures for me. So bad they're good. If We, Lead the Way, Twister, Want You, All My Life are just bad. Reflections remains a great ballad. I guess the big question is... Is Glitter still as bad now as it was back in 2001?
