I wish it had the Miguel verse in too though.
Ride ON, now that I can hop on board with. An utterly beautiful mess
The best one so far, although it only emphasizes the fact that her voice is shot.
They're performing the remix at the BET Awards tonight:
And some lambs are saying that her drinking champagne and wine right before performances (and sometimes during) is hurting the voice the most.
Oh get a grip.
8 weeks is very solid, but it still makes me think most people won't even have heard it. I'm going to start asking people - now there's a clip-board questionnaire I'd stop on the high street for.
Absolutely BIZARRE chart run. It's almost like the song IS POPULAR IN IT'S OWN RIGHT, yet it isn't catching on? Again, totally bizarre.
It must be at around 100,000 now? It's a fabulous little run!
When was the last time she had 8 weeks in the top 75?
Bye Bye had 9 weeks top 75. Touch My Body had 8 weeks top 40.
Bye Bye was in the top 75 for NINE WEEKS?!
Apparently so!! I seem to recall now it hung around the bottom end of the iTunes chart for quite a while.
Madness. I suppose she was still riding Emancipation at that point. This feels like a much more hard-won (albiet qualified) success.
I'm shocked Bye Bye was in the charts for that long!
Maybe it was a 'fun for funerals' song?
Did she have a miscarriage? That would have given it legs.
Maybe there was a lot of "peoples who lost their grandmothers" that year.
She allegedly did but it never made the press.
She miscarried in December 2008, seven months too late to give Bye Bye a chart boost.
I actually had no idea that was true. She should have promoted it. Dead babies = HUGE SALES.
She did one interview about it in 2010 and moved on. It did NOTHING for 'Oh Santa!'. Christmas and dead baby stories DO NOT MIX.

I love at the 5:05 mark how the voiceover says "it turned into TWO PROCEDURES" all the while using footage of a close-up of her cleavage from a red carpet moment.
She miscarried when promoting "I Stay in Love", no? I remember something seeming amiss with her (in hindsight) when she was performing it at the award shows, X Factor.
#BEAUTIFUL at the BET Awards.
Shamelessly lipped. I wonder if she'll EVER do a genuinely great performance ever again.
I'm boring even myself with this but it was a fully lipped perf, and lots of people have picked up on it.
is this song still "happening"? lots of love
Anyone have any decent theories as to why this song always rebounds after the weekend?
anyway BET seems to have done the trick as it's up to #11 combined on US itunes. Personally I don't mind her lipping it since the live attempts have been a disaster. And I do believe those awesome perfs of WBT and Always Be My Baby recently were mostly live.
miguel was miming too his part's not even difficult to sing!
My poor Mimi
I still love you, even when you're lipping the shit out of everything
The song's still beyond and she looked incredible (can't take that away).
That remix is hideous though - all that cut & paste studio trickery bollocks is exactly what she needs to stop doing. It completely detracts from the tune and she is hopeless at miming it all.
LOL I don't even....
It's how us Britney fans make it through each campaign Get on board Lou
