I've never even thought for a second they could have done anything else with the start of SNC. I love it. The song is such an audacious disco track as it is, it has every right to just walk into the room, all thumping synths and glittery disco beats from the word go.

    That screen cap :D

Not one of my favourites in the first place and Matt Pop didn't do much to change my mind.

In fact, that ENTIRE VIDEO :D

I've never watched my ABBA In Japan DVD, I might have to get round to it now.

ABBA in Japan is as INSANE as you'd imagine.

The dancers did rather catch the eye... :D

Ag and Frid seem fully invested too though!

Matt Pop produced most of that recent Hazell Dean Re:Visited album, which was all ABBA songs and made them sound very listenable too (after several vodkas) particularly If It Wasn't For The Nights, King Has Lost His Crown and SOS.

It's very functional up until the rap and then it becomes brilliant.

Is it just because there's no official ones out there that everyone spunks over Matt Pop Mixes? I find the entire lot (that I've heard, granted) ENTIRELY TINNY AND UNLISTENABLY SHITE...

One thing this thread has given me, though- I never knew about that "tape theft"- does that mean there are other songs other than "Just Like That" in demo form I've NEVER HEARD?

I think I've liked all of them to varying degrees. In terms of sound quality I think I've only ever played them out of my phone or laptop speakers, so it isn't really anything I've considered as I've never expected to compare it to anything better.

I can't say I've ever been inclined to do a huge playlist of them, but two or three at a time satisfies the occasional urge.

He's managed to turn an average album track into something quite :disco: here.

I find the original just a little laboured, but this is quite a treat.

Just realise an EP of the Matt Pop remixes of album tracks as the “new” material

    NO-ONE WILL REALISE

Just popping in to let you all know that I led him on, knowing that some day soon he’d be gone :(
