why not? :D she could fund the whole album and 5 videos and not spend even half of her Spice fee so I say yassss queen, make it rain! :disco:

by the way I wonder if this has a shot at going top 10 in the UK? it would be the first solo Spice album to do so since Free Me in 2003 (#7). Version of Me went in at #25.

I'd love to see her do well. I love her tenacity and she genuinely seems lovely

Geru comes in for an overheard volley at the net BUT OH MY WORD SHE SMASHES IT LONG and CHISHOLM COLLAPSES TO THE GRASS! SHE'S TAKEN HER THIRD WIMBLEDON TITLE! Bluebell Madonna is crying in the stands but the crowd is going wild! Another million in the bank, another album of bangers on the way! :disco:

The release schedule for this Friday looks LUDICROUS so I'm guessing Top 30 at best?

How many did her last album sell in its first week in the UK?

Tell that to someone who picks up his mail everyday! I thought she had bought (and sold) a house in the area!

“Overload” is pleasant enough. Wish it was a bit more uptempo. Decent album track though!

Why do you guys think this could threaten the top 30? Is there any actual momentum outside the four of us here?

Well, that and album sales are in the toilet. The #31 album last week sold 2,247 copies, including streaming sales.

and she's done loads of formats/bundles etc this time which is the key to a decent first week. surely top 15 at a minimum - I can see her beating Róisin.

Overload is a decent album track

In & Out Of Love is a genuine BOP, it's been decades since I've had a Mel song on repeat so much

I quite like Overload but can't help but chuckle at the double entendre lyrics.

well, ladies. the day is here :disco:

Good Enough BANGS! her commitment to uptempo and production that sounds expensive has me quite wet this era.

It's really good, but In & Out / Blame It / Who I Am / Overload are a clear cut above the rest. Maybe Good Enough will join that list. End of Everything is quite a nice closer - the midsection is a bit muddy.

    B++ and good work Mel.

someone on Popjustice referred to her as "the chizz" today.

and another poster got very upset when I posted "6.9 from Pitchfork :o go Mel!" and the link was just VB's Let Your Head Go video. :eyes:

    so, yes.
