Bless her, she was clearly beyond thrilled.

The other final spot is going to be rather more predictable based on the reaction in the arena.

I thought that was better than the first heat anyway. I have higher hopes for next week, though Lina Alcazar and The Lovers of Valdaro are doomed to go down in big glorious gay flames.

    What a show :D

I really feel Oscar's Harold & Maude meets Interview With The Vampire disaster is a Melfest Fiasko for the ages.

I don't think Margaret gives TWO FUCKS somehow. She gave a half arsed performance. Song is fun though.

Hold You is nice - but Hanna is the true star of that song.

Julian Rhind-Tutt squeaking about how he's banging a nonagenarian to annoy his parents, and dancing like he's being electrocuted by a faulty stage light while trying to suppress a devastating seizure? I mean, what's not to like?

I loved Oscar’s song, such a shame to it crash and burn like that.

Hanna Ferm’s PSYCHOTIC DETERMINATION to succeed was SOMETHING ELSE. They had chemistry in spades, and the song is great - the front runners, for sure.

Songs were slightly better this week, Margaret's is a bop but she had all the tempo of trainwreck on stage.

What's really notable is the uptick in the scripts and the presenters this year. The interval acts and the presenters actually improved the show vastly again instead of dragging it down even further.

I disagree, maybe I just need to hear them more but I really liked two from last week but none of them this week.

Agree on the hosting though, even if I don't understand Swedish...

I agree with D5k, this semi was much worse.

Margaret giving it the full 1.10% in her performance and looking like she couldn't be arsed one way or the other during the vote reveal.

She was probably just glad she never had to wear that dress again

Her dress wasn't that bad. The CGI was so much worse.

I liked the staging. It looked like an early 2000s advert for a catalogue for fat women.
