I don't think it really matters where you stand, it's kind of designed so everyone will get a good view. I wouldn't bother trying to get to the front, it gets incredibly busy and by the time she finally gets on stage you'll be in a state of distress.

What did people think of the support acts?

I thought Alphabeat were really great. Good performance and strong vocals from Stine.

I was a little bit surprised by Semi Precious Weapons, if only because I didn't know there was more than one support act. The bloke was basically a more sweary version of Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters. "Lady FUCKING Gaga!"

    Yeah, we get it.

Alphabeat, as always, were absolutely brilliant. Really did the job and got the crowd going. My only complaint that the set was TOO short, I could've been doing with a bit of DJ :disco:

Semi Precious Weapons were ABYSMAL. I have no clue who they are but some shit tranny shouting 'FUCK YOU' continually is not exactly going to ENDEAR YOU to the public. It was just completely amateur and their attempts at 'controversy' were really phoney.

I DO like Semi Precious Weapons' music, and have for a while now, but I wasn't impressed with their slot! A man behind me shouted "FUCK OFF YOU CUNT" many times.

BUt Alphabeat were proper amaze!! Setlist was ace

I think beyond all the GLAMOUR and GLITZ my personal favourite moment was "So Happy I Could Die" because it was simple but so amazing. I loved how she just looked like this little girl commanding 20,000 people. It was very HEARTFELT and also very EMPOWERING.

Id love to agree with you but I genuinely thought the exact opposite! I was standing at the front and barely anyone around me was moving or singing along and i actually thought gaga herself was noticing this..i really expected everyone around me to be going mad but oh well, i still did. Even when the whole arena was cheering etc, it didnt seem THAT enthusiastic.

ANYWAY yeah, as for the show, it really was AMAZING. I LOVED how it opened with DITD, after waiting all those hours for her to come out it really was overwhelming and such a fantastic intro. Her vocals were outstanding, she had so much energy and you can tell she was born to do it.

I agree with whoever said so happy i could die was a highlight, I thought it was so simple and haunting. Alejandro too was another fav.
The last 6 or so songs were just in the perfect order, it was one mega hit after the other. The whole show was so good though, amazing it was put together in a few weeks.

I also liked her interactions with the crowd, really sweet at times and shes also quite funny..she had everyone captivated :D
I loved that new song she did too, glitter and grease wasnt it called? That sounded great!

So the new ticket prices for the June shows are in...

    £73 including fees for STANDING
    £83 general seats
£56 up with the gods seats

Pretty SHOCKING, Whilst I was completely BLOWN AWAY by the show I don't feel it's my responsibility as a FAN to cough up DOUBLE THE DOLLAR to cover the losses causes by what was a bad business decision (albeit an incredible artistic decision) to expand the scale of the show.

If the shows performed on these new dates remain identical to those of the past few weeks (which most likely won't be the case) then fans do have a right to be annoyed, I don't personally mind paying moderate to high prices for the right shows (I think £50-65 is an adequate amount for the current incarnation) but it would just seem like a BRAZEN exploitation of the fans to charge the new prices for the same show, irrelevant of the gesture of having an amazing show for the previous price, it was HER decision to change the show after all.

    SORT IT OUT GAGZ

I guess I may feel differently had I been to the last round of dates, but to me, those prices aren't bad for what is clearly a spectacular show by the biggest act in the world at this moment.

She can FUCK OFF with £73 for standing. When I saw Mylène it was €54 for a much more elaborate set and she'd had 20 years of hits by that point.

I paid €100 for Mylène last september in Brussels, it was pelouse d'or but still. Tickets for Gaga in Arnhem next May are €71,50 for standing and €93,50 for best seats, way overpriced.

I feel as though the next time she tours I will not get tickets. Reading back threads on Popjustice, people on there were being really wanky last week when genuine forum members (thousands of posts, etc) were asking for pre-sale details and people weren't PMing them because they were being overly cautious and talking about these posters-in-need being possible touts etc.

    How arsehole-ish can you get?

Well QUITE. They are a bunch of cunts who validate their smug existence by having front row tickets for gigs. That disgusting creature vasilios is the worst. As if Greece isn't suffering enough at the moment without having him as a resident.

Dinnae worry Tetty, if there's any Scottish dates in the pipeline, we will keep you informed on here.
