So, Congratulations to your winner @Dark Carnival.

Thank you all for playing and especially to Alla and Ag for making this whole thread seem a little less like me having a breakdown.

    Same time next year?

If it wasn't for the hysteria in the midweek thread I do wonder if Kylie would have placed. Even more niche as that would be.

I should probably mention at this point that I did all the adding up in my head after a few drinks. The winner is certainly correct but do feel free to check your scores and let me know if I've cocked anything up.

Pleased with second but don’t a not inconsiderable proportion of people open presents on Christmas Eve rather than Christmas Day? That’s why I went with Dinner instead.

I don't think so? Maybe the odd one or two as a teasing first look but presents are always associated with the main day in Britain at least?

I think the Christmas market question fucked me over. I'm baffled that mulled wine stands out as an obvious answer. I mean no one actually BUYS anything at these things.

I didn't realise that all the questions were specific to Britain.

I just assumed - and I'm going to assume again that it's not incorrect - that most moopy members/players of this WERE British :D

Thanks dmlaw! Part of me was worried that 'The Snowman' would be disqualified as I thought it was a TV programme, not a film.

That's half the fun of this game though, innit. Trying to guess what people are going to say regardless of whether it's right or wrong.

I thought 'Silent Night' was called 'Holy Night' :D They say it on the second verse!

I did wonder about that actually. I didn't feel that I could combine it with Silent Night when people were actually choosing O Holy Night.

Last? Noddy Holder and Arthur Christmas were solid answers, I shouldn't be penalised for everyone else being wrong.

Yay! Not last, not even nearly last! :D

Mariah Carey never even occurred to me for a Christmas celebrity and world peace is my Miss Congeniality answer.

Thanks @dmlaw for the fun xxx

Who the fuck would play Jesus in a nativity play? It's a new born baby. You'd normally use a doll so that the shitty 7 year olds doing the play don't accidentally drop a new born baby.
