Dear all, Just a little update on our financial situation and how you can all help to keep Moopy going. Moopy costs money! Our current running server charges are £36.99 per month. In addition we have to pay for certain licenses and things from time to time. We also like to give back to our posters with prizes and such and previosuly we have also made charity donations, all of which costs money. We currently receive £24/month from poster donations and an average of £10/month from Amazon income. There are a few ways in which you can help; 1. Make a regular donation to Moopy. This can be done either by standing order into the Moopy Bank Account (please request details and I will send them to you) or via Patreon https://www.patreon.com/Moopyforums, although Patreon do charge us fees. The donation really doesn't have to be a lot, we currently have donations ranging from £2 - £5 a month to give you an idea. No minimum contract. Every little really does help. 2. Make a one off donation, either straight into the Moopy Bank Account or Paypal is also possible. Again please request details and I will send them to you. 3. Use the MOOPY AMAZON LINK. What is this I hear you ask? Well it's simple, if you buy stuff from Amazon please please purchase via the Moopy link. It costs you nothing except a click, and it means we automatically earn money from your purchases. Although we can see a list of what has been purchased, we have no idea who has bought what. So your purchases are anonymous. The Amazon link can be found the at top of the page, next to where it says 'members', you may have to click the three horizontal lines next to it to show up. So if you enjoy Moopy and are able to, please show us some (financial) love!
I stopped the patreon because I had a few occasions of them telling me the payment couldn't through for an unknown reason, only for them to take it a day or two later without telling me they were planning to ask for it again. I felt better cancelling it.
I cancelled a couple of preorders and resubmitted the order now that I know how to find the Amazon link, cheers.
We're at £772 so doing ok. A prize giveaway may be possible, but perhaps in a few weeks time as it needs a trip to the pound shop and post office and I'm not really doing unnecessary trips at the moment
I do remember in days gone past, lolly and I popping into a pound/charity shop to see what rubbish we could buy And once in Salisbury we almost bought a Princess Diana thimble
In all honesty, it doesn't REALLY need that. We could have virtual shit prizes. Not sure I'm comfortable wasting money on tat which will just go in the bin anyway. So, I mean: "It's either a CD OF YOUR CHOICE" (outdated now, I know, but bear with me) or..."THIS PICTURE OF LOUIS WALSH GETTING OVER EXCITED ON THE X FACTOR PANEL c. 2005" We need to adapt to a post-plastic shite world!
I like the idea of SOME physical prizes (other than a book/CD from amazon, etc), but only if it's moopy branded tat like mugs. I agree to not just buying shit for the sake of it from poundland etc. Although I'd still be up for a Princess Di thimble, obviously.

Actually, that seems to be a lot less than I would ever expect! We literally only made 25 purchases between the lot of us and 9 of those are from me! Come on Moopy, we can do better than that!
I think it does if you're ordering from .co.uk, doesn't it? I thought it only didn't if you were ordering from .com or .de etc.
I'm QUITE BAD at remembering to do this, but just put through the office stationary order on the moopy link. xxx
Ok so it works on some products. The Abba album from the link doesn't ship, but I think might buy my dad that Boney M. Greatest Hits. Papa KC loves a good HUSTLE.
