I think I'll be at my parents next Saturday. I could do an early results show, but that's not really the point of this. Thursday, if we rush the voting, or Sunday would work for me.

Closing nominations at 6pm, and aiming to start the voting for the bonus round at 7ish (might do a mini reveal party, not sure yet).

Trying to think back to what we missed. The topics are way too big to trawl through.

    DB Boulevard and Moony?

I'm still a bit confused by this. I have major weekend brain today. So I've nominated five from the lost evictees one of which was one of mine. Is that right? Sorry of any dupes, but as it's you with the final say doesn't really matter. Right? :D

Calvin Harris ft. Florence & The Machine - Spectrum
    Bloc Party - Flux
Dizzee Rascal & Calvin Harris - Dance Wiv Me
    Radiohead - Idioteque
    Wiley - Wearing my Rolex

The Grid is a great call. I’ve not thought of it in years. I’m sure I have the cassingle boxed away somewhere.

Ok my absolute fave on this list is goddess Kelis! What a queen of reinventing herself. So if we only have one then please add this :)

    Kelis - Acapella
Tony Di Bart - The Real Thing
    CRW - I Feel Love
    Alexis Jordan - Happiness
    Stonebridge - Put Em High
Uniting Nations - Out Of Touch
    Solu Music - Fade
Reflekt - Need To Feel Love
Tall Paul - Rock Da House
    Love Inc - You’re A Superstar
Sureal - You Take My Breath Away
    Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation
    The Shapeshifters - Lola’s Theme
York - OTB (On The Beach)
    Red Carpet - Alright

Rosie Gaines - Closer Than Close
Powerhouse - What You Need (Ft Duane Harden)
Moloko - The Time Is Now

Oh my god! I’m that DB Boulevard tracks was on some shot advert for a while and I never wanted to hear it again for a while but thankfully I’ve fallen back in love with it.

also didn’t someone say another Moony track, Angelmoon .. I remember buying that in Virgin Megastores the week it was released (and flopped) :-(

Some splendid lists here. Remember, not all of them are going to make the cut (although everyone who's nominated songs will be represented) - I want it to be a surprise when the list is revealed later.

A strong yes please to Kerncraft 400 and Heart of Asia.

I didn't know for a long time that Kerncraft 400 was the song and Zombie Nation was the musician. It still doesn't make a lot of sense.

As for my suggestions, if BBE and Benny Benassi don't get in then I will have some questions about the selection criteria. Other than those two, my biggest priority from my list would be Starlight.

Yeah, that doesn't make a lick of sense. That's like discovering the SONG was called Billie Piper, and the artist was Becca Swiwantu.

Nope! I feel like we should have gone for a thousand nominees and just had ten semi finals with a hundred songs each.

I was actually going to suggest Matoma - Sunday Morning as it's one of my favourites of the past few years but having just had it in ASFM may be a bit much.

Keep Warm is another great track. Spectacularly fraudulent lip syncing in the video even by the standards of early 90s dance.

Yes! I feel like after the year we are having, 2021 and a 1000 song dance rate will be much needed and amazing.

We might get lucky and end up with another spike. We'll need something to fill the lonely weekends in Lockdown II.

Just under an hour if anyone else wants to submit any nominations. I can't take any more from the people who've already nominated, because you've forced me to make some DISGUSTING culls as it is. I've picked what I think are your most deserving candidates for the final, but it was BRUTAL.
