    MOOPYVISION 2017: THE FINAL

Welcome to the final of Moopyvision 2017. Last year's winners, Bulgaria, have the honour of hosting us this year, so we're coming to you live from the Sports Hall Diana in Yambol!

And to celebrate diversity, we've used the latest in robotics technology to create three versions of the Polibot-3000 to take us through the show:

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Here are the 26 countries that have qualified for the final - which could be the final time for some of the Big 5 amid rumours that the Moopyvision Reference Group are considering ending their automatic qualification in Moopyvision 2018.

But enough about next year! This year please send me your votes in the usual format of 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1.

Voting closes at 8pm on Saturday 27 May, with the results aimed to be later in the UK bank holiday weekend.

Voted. Culling a few of those timeless favourites was actually quite traumatic.

i'm torn how to vote. normally, i balance between performance, stage show and how much i love the song but this year nothing really came together properly.
    ugh.

alright. i manned up and voted.
mostly for the songs themselves and my number one in spite of the vocal performance which i've now decided i hate.

could've given a couple more tracks a point but then i can't say there's anything for the ages in the top either really.

Voted, found it quite difficult, quiet a few good songs this year, but 1 few really awful ones (spain) as well.

That's a fairly robust number as it is. We can't have had that many more last year.

We managed 39 last year, I was hoping to get into the 40s but you never know.

Also even at this stage of the voting I can't tell who's going to win.

GOOD. (My 12 points went for a song with male vocals, there is hope then)

The Big 5 really should not get a buy into the final in Moopyvision. They're just CLOGGING UP the SLOTS.

Is this the 10th moopyvision? I can find as old as 2008. Maybe it's time to run a special edition with the top 3 or so from each year to choose the favourite song of the last decade. Also one with the bottom ones to choose the absolutely WORST would be fantastic.

I started doing them in 2006, think they probably happened before that though. Started with an all-time one, then a normal Moopyvision 2006 after that:

You're right, maybe it's about time for another all-time or last ten year contest though.

We last had a Moopyvision Decade thing in 2013 (we had a 90s one in 2014) so I think with another 4 contests under our belt since then it's time for another SOMETHING
