And to think she wrote this song with OH RED ONE!
They truly do some magic together...
I didn't know Angel Down was the Red One song! Wow!
That explains a lot!
I'm thinking of elevating Angel Down to a 10
to be fair, Red One does have a KNACK for nice and catchy melodies/harmonies even if you strip away all the blips and the synths.
Just confirmed: Lady Gaga - 'A-YO'; SINGLE #2 Going to Top 40 and Hot AC radio
'A-YO' has grown on me, the SNL performance really worked. Catchy as fuck.
A-Yo is the only LEGIT chance she has at having a hit that radio actually bothers to play.

This new song is a pile of shite AYo aka shake it off
OK, after Carpool Karaoke and just catching up with the SNL performances today, I'm going to buy this, and I have only previously bought The Fame.
Million Reasons replaces A-Yo as single number 2, following its massive increase after Carpool Karaoke.
It's incredible. Really hope she can make a huge hit of it.
BUT YOU KNOW I GOT A DIAMOND HEART
Her BEST SONG since MARRY THE NIGHT tbfh
I changed my mind AGAIN about "A-Yo" and I think it's ALRIGHT actually. 7/10
It's "Million Reasons" I'm not that fond of...
faint praise love since Marry the fucking night has proven to be quite shit and causes ear cancer
Is "Million Reasons" still flying high in the various charts?
She really needs to WHACK THE FUCK out of the promo and get the video out QUICK.
Guess you've been listening to it quite a lot then, love.
I'll be honest, I've spent my entire morning absolutely FIZZING about Pipo's dreadful Marry The Night opinion
fuck you ALL to hell and get C*NTED in the face
So I watched something they uploaded this past weekend on her VEVO channel, suppose it was the "dive bar" thing? She performed about 4 songs. God, Million Reasons is truly a good song innit? I was getting all teary eyed listening to it. I love how she was jumping around and actually dancing whilst her voice NEVER cracked and never sounded pitchy. TALANT.
God, I missed this thread in the downtime.
This album has grown on me a lot but it sounds still like a bit of sub par Gaga meets Pink in terms of sound. However, Diamond Heart, Joanne, A Million Reasons and Angel Down are all wonderful and make the whole thing worthwhile.
So Gaga has lent backing vocals for Lukas Nelson's band Promise of the Real and their soulful rock song Find Yourself - think Neil Diamond or Alabama Shakes.
Full song can be streamed via Rolling Stone:
Thanks to the Big Little Lies soundtrack and the unbearable heatwave I've been very much into that lazy Californian sun drenched music vibe, which is exactly what I feel Joanne was striving for but the style is implemented perfectly here, on another act's song. Her unprocessed vocals makes sense with this aesthetic, and I wouldn't mind her pushing for this looseness more in the future, where there isn't the concern that she also has to cater at some level to Top 40 pop.
The band is also involved with A Star Is Born (playing live with Bradley Cooper and Gaga during concert scenes), so I'm eager to see what balance is struck on the soundtrack.
Loving this sound!!
Well that's a NON SHOCK
Joanne is releasing a new acoustic piano video for Joanne, title track from the album Joanne, as a lupus buzz single:
*sings in lupus*
How selfish. Lupus is Kelle Bryan's niche. She's the face and voice of lupus.
In seriousness though the title track of this album has destroyed me tonight. Very close friend in hospital and about to lose her battle with cancer and this song just sums up how we've been dealing with it. I'm not sure why I'm posting this here but there you go.
Sending you my best, @BoysForSeles
Thanks very much.
Sending you love & a warm hug <3 @BoysForSeles
Joanne made me contemplate & cry about my sister who died at 2 when I was 4. I was so young when she passed away so I never really ever thought about her, but leave it to Gags to dig up a queen's family skeletons and fuck ha up 20 years later.
