Boris apparently not far from declaring according to she of the BBC who will not be named:

Sources confirm Michael Gove will co-chair Boris Johnson's campaign along with N Ireland Minister, Ben Wallace, who was a Remainer

At least we don't have to go through a pob campaign. If Boris wins, he's gonna get a big ministerial role isn't he?

I thought that. He doesn't seem like a numbers man.

Will George Osborne be the chancellor under a new leader? Who is a likely candidate for that?

If Theresa isn't PM then she'd be the best person for Foreign Secretary. She's cold, unemotional and gets things done. Perfectly suited.

Chaos is an understatement. Is there a historical precedent for this amount of simultaneous political upheaval in UK history?

It's odd, isn't it? Part of me is pretty scared, another part feels almost privileged to be living through it.

Does she? I seem to remember her being all mouth and no trousers when things kicked off over the Channel Tunnel last summer.

A small part of me hoped we'd leave:

    a) to show the Brexiters how shit it would
    b) the news would be amazing.

There simply is no precedent for this. I know we lost the empire, but with the exception of the US it was a managed decline in the face of the inevitable. Granted the way we lost Ireland was bad as well, but this is probably the worst loss since the Hundred Years War.

Probably not. He seems like he'd prefer to go off to join the Bilderberg air miles set with the likes of Mandelson. Nice work if you can get it.

The one who's hysterically fucked is Cameron. Previous prime ministers were either old enough to retire happily or went off and did speeches on leadership or advised international banks or multinational organisations. Good luck with ANY OF THOSE :D

He will. Having a former corruption scandal-disgraced minister as our new PM would be the perfect summation for what we've become.

I'm still reckon there's a chance it will just be Boris for the leadership, considering that it's a poisoned chalice now.

The party rules mean you have to have been a member for 3 months before getting a vote on leadership so there's no point in joining.

Theresa Bae still amuses me. As does that cartoon.

If there's one thing, this whole disaster has provided some wonderful humour.

The Daily Mash have knocked it out the park, it has to be said. The one about the huge fall in old ladies being helped over the road was pretty much genius.

Surely Osborne is too closely associated with Cameron to survive this?
