    Promotion for Leadsom.

    Ugh.

    I am feeling very disenfranchised.

Remember how the first time most of us had any awareness of Louise Mensch it was when she was yelling at Rupert Murdoch and we were all amazed that a Tory could be so cool? :bruised:

That father is actually one of the Green Party's spokespeople and they've had previous form.

Not that it makes Mensch's tweet any less heinous. The woman is an absolute horror.

Don't worry about Leadsom - who would want to work in Defra right now? Northern Ireland is more appealing.

Andrea Leadsom is the one who'll have to deal with the farmers losing out on Common Agricultural Policy subsidies (i.e. BASICALLY ALL OF THEM on THE ONLY THING THAT KEEPS MOST OF THEM AFLOAT) :D :D :D

Good; the Common Agricultural Policy is a cash burner and a corrupt system of payments - although the Leave camp did blunder that contributions could become more generous after a Leave vote, but we all know what happened to their promises. Good luck Andrea.

May's formed a nice little Brexiter human shield against the EU hasn't she.

Someone compared her to Ann Coulter, which seems like a fair comparison. The lovely Louise was supporting Angela Loathesome and furious at the Times and their appalling journalism standards by asking questions and was actually tweeting that the Times had apologised to Loathsome when they'd done nothing of the sort. Louise was also scathing about Theresa and now supports her fully!

It's quite a shrewd move really. She can point the finger at the dastardly lot if it goes to shit or if they end up delivering Brexit-lite.

The Times have kindly waited for BRITAIN'S MUM to move into her new office before dropping part two of her interview.

    She is utterly useless.

To think she believed she had the skills necessary to become PM. I hope the farmers in this country eat her alive.

I think that facts are still allowed as long as they are entirely made up. It's experts that the Great British Public no longer have any time for.

Anna Soubrey has apparently been sacked. One of the more likeable Tories she'll be quite happy slagging off the government when things start going tits up.

Where are you reading this Sharla? Surprising because she was quite a vocal supporter of Theresa May for leader.

So basically May is getting rid of any of the remotely left leaning Tories. Nice.

Why is this so FUNNY? :D Sturgeon wearing MEGAHEELS because May has a few inches on her height-wise.

Flatmate just messaged me about the fact that May has essentially said that she is not going to push the button on Article 50 "until she has the whole of the UK on board." He takes this to mean that she might not even do it, and will blame Scotland.

I am COMPLETELY FINE with this. It's an ill-advised tactic to try and keep the union together though. Brexiteers unleashing their wrath on the Scots is not something that would make us want to STAY.

Not that Scotland isn't the most important place on earth, but there is also somewhere called Northern Ireland which Theresa May is probably equally, if not more, concerned about.

I am literally re-iterating what my flatmate said. I am aware it is only one element of the story. It's simply because May was up here today that the Scottish link was made.

Anna Soubry officially resigned tonight. Some people saying because she was overlooked for a cabinet job.

Apparently the old school nasty party Tories are FURIOUS that Terri is going to keep Cameron's pledge on foreign aid.

Doesn't matter what she's wearing, love.

What a fucking CUNT. Please lock any gay losing their shit over her in her inevitable Margaret Thatcher MEMORIAL DUNGEON.

You all rag on me but apparently for some rubbish gays one WHIFF of minge is all it takes for a chorus of fingersnaps. LOOK AT YOURSELVES and HAVE SOME

I'd have toned down the nastiness, and faked really concern for the likes of Thangam and Greenwood, and repeated a selection of quotes from their speeches.

I certainly agree with Madison about the darkness - the whole thing would have worked better as more of a jovial barb, but she took it to pure hate in the last five seconds.
