I'm not even clicking on that link. I don't want to let myself get excited until there's definite evidence of this pop second coming.

I've not even been allowing myself to HOPE. (although it would be nice if she could sign with M&S or Waitrose, if she goes down the Nads route)

  4. She's apparently signed with SONY, TP.

    NOT EVEN A SUPERMARKET!

More of this would be lovely, for the album tracks at least.

I can see the media being really horrid about the whole thing though :(

i want a really detached ICE COLD electronic affair.

"kooky" means shit these days. charlotte church is going "kooky".

K8 Bush is KOOKY, and I highly doubt we'll be getting a "Get Out Of My House" from Nicola. :(

It's Magic really is tremendous, I would have so entered it in ASFM II had it not been recorded by an already Moopy icon

Sorry guys but I think they’ve got confused with her having a publishing deal and she’s just writing songs :(

Oh, I got terribly excited for the first 10 posts or so in here. I don't want Cheryl getting Nicola's (clearly going to be) amazing tunes :(

I still don't get the appeal but she seems to be to GA fans what Lisa Scott-Lee was to Steps fans. I don't see it myself.

My reasons for liking Nicola Roberts are thus:

    1. She is spectacularly moody
    2. It's Magic is in my top 5 Girls Aloud songs
    3. Her white-girl Geisha style and the fact that she does not fear BIG HAIR
    4. Her amazing contributions to 'Dreams That Glitter', particularly her memories of Popstars The Rivals. All the other girls talk of being nervous and insecure, she claims "Another week, another great performance from me" :D
    5. She really is SPECTACULARLY moody

We need a 101 reasons why we love Nicola Roberts thread.

    6. Her section of "Whole Lotta History" elevates the song to UTTER GENIUS

    Hello...
    Did you call me?
I thought it didn't matter that you're gone
    And I know
    End of story
Now there's nothing but a shadow where my heart shone

Does anyone have that youtube clip of them all staggering out of a club in LA, spectacularly pissed, and Nicola is utterly agog at the idea that the paps might take photos of her crotch as she gets into a car.

"They don't do that here? They don't do that here, do they? They don't do that here?" *slumps over*

It's like Absolutely Fabulous, the ASBO years. :D

    9. Her berating of her Taiwanese flunkies when they got the formula of Dainty Doll wrong was MAGICAL. The best piece of TV villainy since Alexis Carrington.

The DISGUST and CONTEMPT for the awful orange Welsh gay on Nicola Roberts: The Truth About Tanning was QUITE ASTONISHING.

In fact the entire duration of The Truth About Tanning was event television. Spectral consumer rights champion Nicola losing her shit at that RUDE radio presenter who suggested her sincere campaign was a publicity stunt was FABULOUS.

And then she got angry at that USELESS MP.

It sure beat Kimberley Walsh: My Fave Pair Of Jeans.

I loved that. She shot him down good.

  39. Whilst I am weeping and self-flagellating myself for spreading what looks likely to be FALSE (:() information, my spirits have been lifted by everyone being 10/10 in this thread.

    SORRY GUYS.

I feel like Huw Edwards introducing Nicola on BBC News as 'a pale girl', only to be given THE LOOK. The only time I've EVER seen him flustered. :D
