Did anyone watch the RNC conference the other day? Republicans just scare me. Them all chanting 'drill baby drill' was quite amusing. As was the toothless woman waving a Palin banner.

I try not to watch the Republican stuff as it really is too hard for me to watch. When I did watch a minute of it though and a protester ran up yelling and pushing the people that were trying to take her out of the convention. :D

Obama was interviewed by right wing conservative political commentator/cunt, Bill O'Reilly last night...the rest of the interview will be aired throughout early next week.

:daf: away if you must, but is Alaska really located down there, next to Hawaii?! Or is that just for the convenience of the map?

    I'm sorry but, :daf:

Don't feel bad though, SOME Americans don't know that both England and Scotland is a part of the UK.

Sorry, but the Alaska thing is very :daf:-worthy

I did lol the other day on the BBC news, when post Conference, some Republican bint insisted that Palin had international experience because she had Canada on one side and Russia on the other

Andries is taking the piss, surely

If not, I actually find it quite endearing that someone that knowledgeable in general cares so little that he actually didn't know!

Yes, that's why I find it odd that some people that don't know where Alaska is haven't at least picked up on the whole "She's right next to Russia!!!!" thing because so many idiotic Republicans have been pointing it out all over the place.

Biden delivered a great speech about the Republican Convention:

Yes, that's all it was, a clever-clever send-up of the "Brussels? Isn't that a funny little country in Europe where they speak Belgian?" chestnut.

Well, either that, or that I was being just a bit obtuse and used a turn of words that made me look more ignorant (and egg-on-faced) than Jade Goody as a result.

In the end, Alaska doesn't matter so it won't really help either way.

I really want to see Obama win this, he is what America needs. However I fear that McCain & the awful 'hockey mom' might just pull it off:(

I'd already accepted invitations to watch it with American friends. :(
