If I was American I'd be majorly pissed off by people of other countires telling me how to vote. I'd vote the opposite. It also serves Obama right for parading around Europe like the second coming.

Has anybody seen this? Biden was talking in front of some crowd and had to mention some names and he had to name Chuck Graham...so he says "stand up chuck...let everyone see you, Chuck", Chuck Graham is in a WHEELCHAIR...so then he says everyone stand up for Chuck. :D

Hopefully it will balance off more towards the Obama side after all this RNC, Palin stuff cools down...the debates should do the trick.

unfortunately, Obama is going to have get nasty now or he won't win. Yes it's a sorry state of affairs and the US should hang its head in shame, but McCain is coming back because of propaganda and a cynical VP choice. It's time to fight back.

What REALLY pisses me off though is that according to those maps, the US are quite happy to accept a Republican government, despite the last 8 years of office. That really is quite disgusting and a horrible FUCK YOU to the rest of the world.

To give some perspective, John Kerry was 273 to Bush's 233 at this stage last year (with Florida a dead heat)

Oh don't be fooled, some brainless cunts in the bible belt and south will vote Republican again if Hitler were leading their country...it's a bit ridiculous really, which is why some Dems are ignorant enough to think Obama has it in the bag, because of Bush's administration the last eight years. Really Obama needs one of those battleground States....Ohio and Virginia in particular would be amazing victories...meanwhile McCain is trying to snag Pennsylvania and Michigan among others. ANd really, even though the middle states look like a bulk of the country, most are worth next to nothing..it's the way it always goes though, Dems get east and west coast + midwest and republicans get everything in between. It will really get down to a single state , I think.

    I think McCain's found a winning formula.

If he can make white american families think Obama is sexist, and an intellectual - he might just do it.

It wasn't so much funny as it was SPOT ON.

I didn't get that Bush doctrine joke until I saw the Sarah Palin interview with Charlie Gibson, and she didn't know what to say when he asked her about the Bush doctrine.

that completely contradicts the latest CNN polls which suggest a 7% swing back to Obama and any momentum that McCain received from the RNC is completely gone

When in doubt, turn to the betting markets for the most accurate predictions.

    http://www.intrade.com/

    Currently predicting: Obama - 273, McCain - 265.

Implied probability of winning from odds: Obama - 51%, McCain 48%

    IT'S ALL TO PLAY FOR

At this site you can guess what the final electoral map will look like this election:

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/maps/obama_vs_mccain/?map=1

    ----------

This is the one I created:

I think it'll be quite likely that a state is too close to call this election, and it will get dragged out for a bit, considering that cruicial states like FL, PA, OH seem like toss-ups at the moment. Who knows though, there may be a more clear winner after the debates go underway.

And the Ohio toss-up was just a quick guess, I think it could definitely be either that or the other states I already mentioned just as easily...it all depends on where McCain and Obama spread themselves to...you will see they are going to be constantly returning to those same back and forth states to get an edge.

    Obama 273
    McCain 265

Still close. If New Hampshire were to flip, it would by a tie, if colorado failed to flip, McCain wins.

So McCain has suspended his campaign to focus on the economic crisis, he wants Obama to do the same and meet with him, Bush and Congress leaders to discuss this financial settlement that will most likely be voted down. McCain wants the first presidential debate on Friday to be delayed.

BREAKING news is that Obama has rejected this wants the debate to continue as planned.
