i'm having a green tea right now and i must say tea really is quite divine. my favourites are green and white but i have become quite partial to a local herbal tea called mursalski. i like it plain and boiling hot and my favourite tea drinking spot is perhaps stranegly under the shower.
Omg how timely, I was researching where to buy my favorite tea today. Current favorite is Jasmine white tea (very aromatic) and cinnamon spice black tea (it tastes like cinnamon candy and is pretty sweet on its own). I usually have green tea in the office, which I don't love but I don't hate as well. Camomile or something similar are always welcome. I really hate fruity teas.
Rooisbos (Red Bush) - Naturally sweet and caffeine free. Have it the same way as regular black tea with a splash of milk. I love it Spiced Masala Chai - the proper stuff that Indians drink. It’s AMAZING when done right but awful when not. I’ve been stocking up on the loose leaves lately. I’ve been shopping for it here: http://www.theteahouseltd.com/
oh i quite like rooibos as well and apparently it's really good for you. i buy one that's flavoured with cinnamon - i should hate it but it works.
do you mean ginger tea or just ginger? i had a pretty long phase when i would just grate a bit of ginger in hot water but i seem to have stopped. i used to really like mint when i was younger. hate it now.
i like to sit under the shower for ages (when i have the time). i listen to music and have tea. if i'm in the mood i'll turn the lights off and light a candle. it's one of my favourite things ever.
Ginger tea. I like buying the ginger bumper pack that has plain ginger, ginger and lime, ginger and rhubarb, the WHOLE LOT.
not if you don't keep it under the running water. and if a couple of drops do go in, i can't say it would bother me at all.
it's a really nice feeling drinking something warm while under warm water. i just really love water really. the other day i managed to talk to a friend about water for what was probably half an hour.
I drink PEPPERMINT TEA before bedtime quite often, I don't even know why. I used to drink green tea but then I got some without lemon in which was bit much and then I started on peppermint. It's supposed to be good for the old INNARDS but I'VE NOT NOTICED ANY DIFFERENCE
I don't like black or green tea at all. Or at least green only when it has some other flavour strong enough to pretty much mask the flavour of the tea itself. Peppermint tea I like perhaps last thing at night or after a Sunday roast. I seem to recall I also liked Twinings Lady Grey back a few years ago, but I can't remember how it was different to Earl Grey, which I'm not massively fussed about. As far as fruit teas are concerned, most smell delicious but taste very disappointing I find. However, I have been enjoying some of the blended ones I've bought from Bluebird Tea Co, who I think are based in Brighton and now have a few stores across the country, including one here. They refer to themselves as 'mixologists' and make loads of blends, some including black and green tea, chai, matcha etc, and some just fruit. I've tried some of their cold brew tea with black tea and don't find it has the horrid tannin taste I dislike about tea when you cold brew it. I'm sure there's some science behind that. At this very moment I have a cup of Bluebird's 'Retro Ted' on the go, which is Hibiscus, rosehip, apple, coconut, pineapple, rose petals, orange and lemongrass. It's not great, though. Thankfully I only bought a tester size.
Over here there are multiple teas available in bottles at convenience stores, which I've gotten used to now. In winter I do like the little bottles of essentially hot builder's tea (rebranded as Royal Milk tea) in little heated cabinets
I like the cold jasmine tea they sell in convenience stores in Japan. other than that tea's not really my ball game. I'm a coffee drinker through and through, BLACK like my m... SOCKS
It's a bit weird to have it from a bottle. Especially when you buy it cold. Couldn't get on board with jasmine tea, I feel like I'm drinking air freshener
Good ol' fashioned 'no blacks round here thankyou' English Breakfast Tea in the morning Earl or Lady Grey for afternoon quaffing with high tea Green, Ginger and Lemon, or Mint tea for evening. I'm quite fond of a well-prepared Chai too.
Originally they were, and they still are if you buy Twinings off the shelf. But you can also get both in green tea versions as well now. Either way, the bergamot, lemon or orange has to drown the flavour of the tea to make it work for me.
I was furthering Kates 'proper tea for proper racists' theme, rather than speculating on the classification of the tea.
It is like air freshener but not soapy. You can now drink the good smelling stuff you wash your hands with.
There's this tea shop next to work that makes lots of blends and mixes of all kinds of tea with fruits and other stuff, it's actual HEAVEN.
Matcha and thai iced tea, because I'm basic and trying to get diabetes. The minty types and chamomile keep reminding me of toothpaste and I'll reflexively gargle and spit
