Went out again for a couple of hours today. Only encountered 4 charmander. None of which were shiny obviously. In fact not a single shiny today. That's it, fuck it I'm never playing this game again

That's all fr too confusing, and I'm not entirely sure it interests me that much anyway.

But I'll wait for my far more experienced in gaming friend to explain it to me.

Yeah I’m not majorly all that fussed either. I just want more Pokemon to catch

I have a friend who drones about IV and move sets and I’m all like ‘gotta catch em all’

Wouldn't it make sense to have some sort of in game IV calculator if they are going to do this? Like I've said before, I'm not interested in IV either really - just if they are top category, or else I delete them.

But one of the reasons is because I find having to go into another app, website or whatever and enter all those details to find out whether it's 83% or 97% or whatever is a lot of faff. And within the game at present, really makes very little difference.

I got a shiny Articuno for my seven day field research reward today. It's virtually indistinguishable from the regular one.

I've been back through the thread and have sent friend requests to people who have posted their codes, so if you've got a new request it's probably me. If you haven't got a request and want to be friends, my code is 7729 9311 2325.

I think its always been possible but really rare. If they've made it happen more regularly then this is a good thing.

It's actually REALLY annoying that there were everywhere a few weeks back and now you can't find any. If you find the 'hatch an egg' task then you could get an exxecute or a lanturn, so that's worth a go - not that I can even find one of those!!

I handed that In this morning before I'd completed the last stage. I could have cried.

Training is just to practice really, isn't it? And work out who your best Pokemon are.

It doesn't interest me massively, although I appreciate the fact that you can challenge friends anywhere.

Someone has posted in a Facebook group that they received a sinnoh stone as reward which interested me, but for the time being, I'll just wait and get those eventually.

I've battled my son (sat next to me as we're not ingame besties) and it worked great. Though when he won, I still got more stardust for losing because I was higher level than him which pissed him off. :D
I tried battling Kelvin remotely and it wouldn't work very well. His pokemon weren't doing anything even though he told me he was. we tried 3 times and then gave up. I'm putting it down to lag his end rather than any ingame mechanic but it was frustrating.

I’ve battled and won 6/6 but I think you only get prizes for the first 3 battles and 1st training you do each day

I only got stardust prizes but the people I beat got fucking Sinnoh Stones. Seems some what ridiculous to give good prizes to the loser and bugger all to the winner or else what’s the point??

I’ve just noticed as well you can buy a new attack for your Pokemon but it costs 75000 stardust and 75 candies

Starting on December 18, Ice-type Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, including Jynx, Sneasel, Swinub, Snorunt, Spheal, and Snover! Certain other Pokémon are also getting into the festivities—you might see holiday-ready Pokémon, such as a Pikachu wearing a festive hat, until January 2!

What’s celebrating the holidays without gifts? Pokémon such as Smoochum, Azurill, and Munchlax will have a greater chance of hatching from 7 km Eggs, so show your friends you care by sending them special Gifts! In order to help with hatching during the holiday season, Trainers will also earn a free single-use Incubator once per day via spinning a Photo Disc on a PokéStop until January 2.

To keep the celebrations coming, there will be plenty of bonuses throughout the event! From December 18 to December 22, Trainers will be able to enjoy double Candy for catching and transferring Pokémon. Then, from December 22 to December 26, earn double Catch Stardust to help power up your Pokémon! From December 26 to December 30, earn double XP when you catch Pokémon to help you reach a higher Trainer level before the new year! Finally, from December 30 to January 2, Incubators will be twice as effective

I caught 3 of the new Pokeymans last night but despite having 3 open egg slots and 10 gifts to open, I got no 7k eggs. :(
