*becomes a recluse*
I didn't know this was out! I'll join you in the recluse club soon, hopefully
Yep, out tomorrow officially.
I'm liking that they've finally mixed it up with the variety of Pokemon at the start of the game. I haven't even reached the first gym yet and I have a Riolu in my team
Black (cock) 2 BETTER come through my door tomorrow
Urgh I see the C Gear is back and UGLIER than ever
I can't start another RPG yet even though I got White 2. I'm playing The World Ends With You and I must complete that before I entertain the notion of losing my life to something ELSE
It feels like a bit of a CHORE to level up at the moment. I need a MISSION, preferably one that doesn't involve fucking around the sewers bumping into fucking ZUBAT and RATATTA.
They mix up the Pokemon in some places, but why do I always end up in a cunting Zubat cave eventually?
Did they ever get rid of the fucking shit 'it's started raining' bits mid battle? It stopped me playing them.
Not that I have or want a 3DS.
That stopped you playing them?!
I think I've had a weather effect battle (maybe) and I don't think it bugged me about it all the time
It was one of the reasons (I did play white but I don't think I lasted long).
The battles really need a bit of a speed up.
The rain I can cope with, the sandstorm and hail I loathe.
I do like the new Victory Road though, its HUGE.
Well yes I mean all of those things. Don't add something that slows down an already too slow battle system.
I don't get it
I thought it was a Pikachu with an extra chromosome.
I thought it was a Pikachu with Down's Syndrome and the one next to it was winking because it had slapped it
Yeah that's what I was getting at.
I don't get it Ditto Pikachus are funny?
DOES ANYONE EVEN CARE?
No, not that at all.
Well I was rather enjoying Pokemon White - seemed to get through all the gyms in no time but felt I was no where near ready to fight the Elite 4 so had to kill some time and train. After managing to defeat N it came as a shock to me when all the trains afterwards seemed to have trained their Pokemon up to Lv 65 when mine were still barely at Lv50! I was making good progress with the Pokedex having seen most of the 152 and then they go and start throwing out random Pokemon from the previous generations and suddenly there's hundreds more to see/catch and it just seems all a bit outfacing and I'm losing interest. Obviously it must be great if you're a hardcore fan who has every game in existence and have a chance of managing it but otherwise its all just a bit much.
Also I'm struggling to get what all this online stuff is; I feel very much out of touch with it all
The Ditto Pokemon is Pikachu!
Quite surprisingly I finally picked up Black 2 again, and just POWERED through about 6 hours of it It's quite addictive. I'm getting a relatively easy ride thanks to the Legendary (Miss) Genesect. I got them at level 15 or something, so it felt kosher to use them in my team - it's a fucking TANK, it's steel/bug. Signal beam just PUMMELS most things.
I still don't love my starter though, last time I ever use a grass starter (or grass ANYTHING). It's got like one decent offensive move, the rest just suck the life out of things.
I randomly bumped into one of N's Pokemon (don't know much about this) in the Desert Resort, a Lv35 Darmitan (when I was about Lv25). Not sure how, but I managed to trap him and have been using him as a Plan B if things get a bit hot, he can just fuck everyone up. Well not so much now, all my team are around Lv35.
I've ended up with a surprisingly balanced team for the first time ever, without really trying. I've got Servine about to evolve, Ampharos, Genesect, Darmitan, Keldeo (the new Lv50 Plan B) and i think some piece of shit Grimer because I wanted something disposable to use Strength.
Only problem now is that I've got two cave areas coming up, including the Chargestone cave which I seem to remember goes on for FUCKING AGES.
Oh oh!! Meloetta is now downloadable from Game in the UK if you are so inclined. I got it on Friday, now I officially CAUGHT 'EM ALL!!
It's Lv50 though so I'm reluctant to use it in my team, a bit too much of a tank
Totally annihilated the Elite Four and the champ, I can probably count on one hand how many of their Pokemon managed to even HIT ME
i love how these are the strongest trainers in the region, but as soon as you visit one of the new routes, these trainers are standing by the side of the road with Level 60 Magnezones etc
there seems to be a LOT of post-story stuff which is good, not sure how much of it I'll pursue. I'll seek out the legendaries, I have them already but spares won't hurt for trading. There's an impressive array of them: The Regis, the pixie spirit things, Cresselia, Heatran, Volcarona as well as the B&W legendaries. I just wish they weren't such a cunt to catch.
*beats them down to a few pixels of HP*
*throws 40 Ultra Balls until you lose the will to live*
I found that to be quite the surprise too (on White) as the first time I went through the Elite Four I was under prepared and just struggled through with many a potion/revive. Then I thought I'd do a bit of training properly before taking it on again only to realise that I was struggling to beat any of the road side trainers
Do you have White 2? Ill make a generous offer for your shiny dratini if you do...
WANT GAMEFREAK are nobs
