Well, thought I'd best start a daily thread before last orders.

Still riding high on our spectacular failure against Iceland, and the utter contempt shown to us by our own commentators and newsreaders.

Yes, I know the office has just had it's carpets cleaned but I refuse to use a tray just to carry ONE cup of coffee back to my desk! :manson:

We're moving offices again, this must be the seventh or eighth time in four years.

You should have taken a tray but spilled it anyway. It's like when people demand you use a plate if you're having a bit of cake - having to nibble it while awkwardly positioning yourself to keep crumbs within the circumference of the plate is nowhere near as fun as shovelling it all in like Cookie Monster and letting the dog sort out the mess.

If it's one cup, surely it's far easier to control potential spillage not using a tray, anyway?

    That's still really good!

Guy on the bus on the way back from poverty party kept sniffing and snorting for the entire journey. I want to go round his house and punch his Mum for bringing such a disgusting specimen into the world.

You can always have it reassessed, can't you? Although that carries the risk of them knocking points off, which is pretty cunty.

Not eurgh. I know not eurgh. But I really cannot do exams. I revised so hard this year, only for them to steal a 1st from me again. What am I doing wrong? My courseworkis still awesome.

It seems like a lot of effort to just get less. Dunno.

I'm glad I didn't have exams on my course, I just find them such an artificial assessment method. Your third year comprises the bulk of your final grade, though, so it shouldn't be too hard for you to still end up with a first - especially since you'll be doing more research projects and your dissertation as opposed to exams (I assume).

I dunno. I hope so. I think I may still have 3 exams.

I'm quite frustrated I flunked one (56%) that I revised ridiculously hard on.

If you got 70+ in over half of your shit then they bump it up, at least that's how it worked at Sussex. Although to be fair I was nowhere near that, obviously.

First day went ok, I didn't cry or shit myself so it's a real success.

I got firsts for three of my modules and a 2:1 for another which brought the whole thing down.

god, i'm exhausted. playing at a corporate event tonight and i can't wait for it to be over. even the salsoul orchestra could barely make them move so as a result i'm drunk. thankfully all the semen i've got in me over the last few weeks is giving me energy.

just a birthday i need to swing by and i'm dying for at least one day.
