Hope you all took a mental image of your favourite vids. PornHub has just deleted all content uploaded by "unverified providers" (whatever that means). It appears about 60% of all videos across the platform have been deleted. It's possible some of the videos will be added back if the uploading users become verified. This followed the major credit card companies refusing to continue to work with the site as a result of unverified uploads.
Well this makes sense legally I guess, but its unfortunate for videos where I don't know the actual name or the actors, just what it was labeled
This is because it was discovered there were a load of videos on the site featuring underage people, right?
Not that I ever go on the site or use the favourites tab, but most the hypothetical favourite videos that I may have had if I used it have disappeared
So all the amateur stuff will just be GONE?! That’s literally the only thing I watch thank goodness for my massive stockpile of downloaded stuff
Perhaps OT but I often wonder how the porn industry even makes ANY money with all the free stuff out there. Who on earth pays for any of it anymore? But then I finish off and go to sleep.

That's nuts. Surely when a video is uploaded it's verified before it's live? Hell I wasn't allowed a Grindr profile picture because the name of a bottle of wine was visible!
I had Grindr underage for sure. I don't know exactly how they even would verify ages on Pornhub, on homemade stuff
Visa and Mastercard have cut ties due to videos featuring underage people, rape etc. so you can't really fault their decision to tidy up
Having posted this, I don't think minors should be on Grindr or Pornhub at all, and child porn is abhorrent, but I just don't understand how they would ensure it
I don’t want to have to go to Thisvid, that’s a bit MUCH for me. The threat of unsolicited scat thumbnails, or even a vagina, is too scary for me
I did notice recently that certain search terms I sometimes use were no longer auto-completing, then a few days later they were coming up with zero results
Obviously this is the ALEXANDRIA LIBRARY FIRE* of porn but in terms of revenge porn, child pornography etc, anything that makes people more accountable for the things they post can only be a good thing. * I know that that isn't a thing that actually happened.
I hope they start deleting any uploads less than 720p and improve their filters for searches as well then
