This is not embarrassing nor controversial. This is simply an iconic QoL being an iconic QoL and should be posted in every thread
oh OK close the thread we have a winner. I actually don't think there has been a better TV moment in history. Me and my sis discuss this at length quite often. There isn't a writer on the planet that could have come up with this scenario and made it any better. Price. Less.
I imagine it was quite embarrassing for poor PATS and also being a rude cunt does not equal being a QoL in my book, even though I do think it’s quite funny
Aretha definitely had TERRIBLE insecurities which is ridiculous given her career, talent and status. Imagine not being happy that you're the Queen of Soul My fave Aretha moment remains the shade Beyonce gave her calling Tina Turner the queen in a tribute with Aretha sat in the front row That really was bad shade though as Aretha was mentioned IN PASSING in the intro. (personally I do think Tina is better than Aretha by a whisker but that's just me)
I always thought Aretha hated Patti cuz she was always trying to BE Aretha. Or so Aretha thought anyway?
I was so confused. I have a certain queen blocked and I thought you'd mistaken Angie Bowie for poor dear sad old Patsy Stone.
And then David left the house, announced the 'David Gest is Not Dead Tour', and then died before the tour.
I think it’s the 3 seconds he takes to digest and compose his thoughts before he has the eureka moment, SHE’S EVEN GOT NEW TITS.
I never knew Hilary Clinton was almost killed by a falling lighting rig mid-interview one time Weird to see her looking so vulnerable and, well, human. Obviously this was relatively early in her career before she went full automaton. Also love the strong hints that she and Bill had/have some kind of kinky open marriage situation going on.
The Faith Hill one is OBVIOUSLY a joke. I genuinely don't understand how anyone took it seriously at the time. (Not a dig at @dUb)
Surprised this hasn't been posted yet (or maybe it has?): The last ten seconds where she is just left there with the microphone, and she thinks the crowd is booing her.
Where are the receipts for the Faith Hill thing being “a joke” @Whatevar @VoR ??? I don’t recall any interviews with her laughing about it afterward!
Maybe the joke didn't LAND like she thought, but her arms up in the air and mouthing directly to camera "WHAT?!" seems like a dead give away. She isn't a very good actress! Not sure if there are receipts of her acknowledging it though.
