Britney hated this for over a decade before R. Kelly was cancelled ("it's not my favorite from the album....")- HER MIND
Lana has publicly disowned this one due to the Harvey Weinstein reference, and admitted he inspired the song in part:
She was brilliant live when I saw her, but the gig I have since found is quite infamous on here. @COB, @santaphone, and I had a great time though.
Aye, Charli XCX was amazing. Genuinely thought I might die during Vroom Vroom tho'. I'm too old for that kind of crowd reaction..
I wish Madge was more vocal about her back catalog. You know she HATES most of it, but she never talks about it. She's poked at "Material Girl" but I think that stems from her annoyance for being called that for that past 35 years.
Interesting. You know she hates all of her uptempos with a TUNE as well ("Breathin" "Into You" "Break Free" etc)
Madonna hated this for years didn't she? Something to do with Sean Penn, but it seems a bit SYRUPY for her tastes anyway.
Ungrateful bitch. If only Marie had sang it instead. Did she ever go into detail about not liking it?
Britney has just went up in my estimations with this revelation. I remember being anxious at how she could have something so bland as her follow up
It’s mentioned briefly in her autobiography as the Per written songs “not really suiting her” and how A Woman and a Man is not much cop generally. Which I think is rubbish- it’s her best album for me.
Well, judging by her output post-2014 that goes without saying. If it were up to her she would perform the thank u next album in its entirety and leave Positions as an encore. Which brings me to this, there's a 5 minute video of her on youtube dissing this track nonstop although I do agree it's kinda crap
Apparently the raw demo vocals were used. she also dislikes Do You Feel Like I Feel and All God’s Children and doesn’t seem to care for In My Wildest Dreams. I think she had beef with I plead insanity too. Given she Doesn’t perform them on tour now she probably thinks the same of I feel the magic, half the world, little black book, lay down your arms and love in the key of c. Maybe she should do yoga chant versions
In fairness, the three times I’ve seen her, she’s done basically the same setlist...unless it’s been a “whole album” show, and even then the hits portion is identical. CHEAP BITCH
