Anybody watching the opening ceremony? Lee Pearson is the flag bearer for team GB.

Channel 4 and More4 have a decent amount of live coverage, a highlight show on More4 from 6am daily, and live coverage on More4 from 6pm until 7pm, then highlights from the previous day 9am-11am. Live coverage begins tomorrow from 1pm until 6pm, a highlights show between 7:30 and 8pm, The Last Leg daily from 8pm and live coverage recommences from 9pm until 1am.

Dame Claire Balding is leading the coverage, as well as Adam Hills and hopefully Danny Crates is back, he's nice to look at.

Gold for Jody Cundy (no relation to Lizzie sadly) after the London debacle and a serious illness a couple of years ago.

This his his 6th Paralympics and he's won medals in all of them, both swimming and cycling.

A gold in the women's 100m backstroke while smashing the world record :)

Our sports officials are being conspicuously quiet on whether a paralympic gold deserves the $1 million reward as Schooling got.

Three rowing golds and two cycling golds today, more guaranteed medals later and Richard Whitehead in action. :horny:

Someone died following a crash in the road race.

That road race looked horrific in the normal Olympics, not surprising

Was it at the same point the crashes occurred in the regular Olympics? SURELY someone should have blocked off some of those areas of the kerb or something. Tragic.

It wasn't. They didn't use that descent.
