I know we're all meant to hate this whore but this is a low-key BANGER (despite sounding exactly like It Ain't Me).

Well I fucking love this whore and while this is no Your Song, it's very good indeed.

who cares if it sounds like a hundred other songs? Rita is one of the few bitches that have delivered SOLID BOPS no exception: this, Lonely Together and Your Song but it will no doubt do ANYTHING in the charts but who gives a fuck when the charts are manipulated by 12 year old clueless cunts who give Taylor Swift hits, speaking of, Look What You Made Me Do was catchy and ridiculous but that Gorgeous song is awful and everything has been so uneventful with her so far, watching grass grow is more exciting.

    sorry I had to vent.

Lonely Together and Your Song have both been solid hits, haven't they?

What is the bloody tracklisting for her album going to look like, is Poison going to be on it and NLYD? What about Lonely, Coming Home and the other duets

She does seem to have done a fair job of bringing her career back from the brink. This is quite nice, much better than the singles from her first album.

Finally some material befitting her status as a very famous international megastar. Your Song was actually pretty good despite the lyrics bearing the taint of Sheeran. I hope he never invited her back to his flat :(

This entered at 20 and is now 3 on iTunes. Shaping up to be big.

Meanwhile Taylor Swift is not top 10.

She's put her name to a range of Rimmel nail varnishes and she's gone all goth - There's Gothic Garden, Darkest Desires and Moonlight Magic. As well as a matt black. I bought 'em all. Couldn't give a toss about her records...

1 on iTunes, 5 in the chart, just cracked top 10 on Spotify, several tour dates sold out.

    Queen.

I don't think the XFactor performance was quite all it could have been but otherwise this is clearly going very well for her.

James Masterton is musing that this is in contention for Christmas #1.

Not outside the realms of possibility.

The X Factor performance was weird. Clearly this is not a singer’s song and clearly Rita Ora is not a singer’s singer so it all felt a bit limp.

But the bits where she was gyrating against the red backdrop like a Soho hooker were unquestionably fabulous.

Let's face it, it's not exactly an easy song to perform live given the structure. I think she's done her best with it.

Totally here for it being Christmas #1 (although it's barely a thing anymore).

I think the vocals for the most part are quite abrasive.

Nonetheless: “X FACTA! PUT YO’ HANDS IN THE AIR! HERE WE GO!”

She just utterly DESTROYED at the EMAs (she's also hosting) with a verse of Your Song and Anywhere in full. Sounded better than on record and looked EVERY INCH the INTERNATIONAL POP PRINCESS. Her performance skills really are superb.

Sometimes I can't quite deal with how much I love this woman.

She is absolutely terrible. Why don't you go and finish your countdown instead or fanboying over this waste of space?

Early 90s are truly back. She performed looking like a dancer from an MC Hammer video.

WHY is she not a proper pop star yet?

Rita has been serving proper pop songs this year in a terrible mediocre year for music. In an age where streaming and kids are ruining the charts, she comes and saves us.

Suomi deserves more tropical influenced mid tempo beige songs with NO choruses and shitty drops that last less than 3 minutes.
